Review Friendship Chinese Restaurant - Stoney Creek

This is one of our favorite places to purchase Chinese Food from. The prices are good, the portions are large (if dinning in you can not close the containers they are so full), the rice is tender like a meat, and the service is fast and friendly. Also, it is the first one I personally have found that offers chicken pieces (chicken balls) with very little batter on them. Delicious! They also offer a bonus to purchases that are over $35 dollars. You get to select from a free order of chicken fried rice, 6 large spring rolls, or 10 small spring rolls. The 4 out of 5 stars is because I am not sure if they use MSG. I say this because I do not see anything saying they do not and some of the dishes are very sweet and salty. However,if you are going to cheat on healthy eating, this is a great place to go. You may be able to ask them to reduce the amount of sauces used, I will try this on our next visit. The photos: Chicken Fried Rice with Broccoli (Lunch Special $7.99 because it was after hours specified for $6.99). Cantonese Chow Mein (yes...there is noodles under the mound of vegetables, shrimp (seafood) and meat. Orange chicken, and BBQ Beef (very sweet sauce), battered chicken pieces, and large spring rolls. The Best Tasting Chinese Food I have had in years. We drive all the way from Niagara to get Dragon Golden's Dinner For 4 Special now (plus extra dishes) because where we are Dinner For 4 with less stuff is over $50. Dragon Golden has amazing prices that are beyond reasonable, and the quality of food is great with such Original Flavorings. The Family that own it are so pleasant and accommodating that I can't find another restaurant anywhere in the area like it. It's so worth the drive and take it from me "You Gotta Eat Here!!"

This restaurant offers decent Canadian Chinese food, your standard sweet sour chicken balls, general tao chicken and other westernized Chinese fair. Your not going to get any authentic Chinese fair but if your looking for regular Chinese take out, this place offers good value for your money. Good portions and food is fairly good. Nothing spectacular but decent and good value for your dollar.

Lunch specials are super affordable and plentiful. Their food reminds me more of homestyle cooking than restaurant flavours. I have been going consistently for the past few months, sometimes getting lunch 2-3 times a week. Only 1 of those 50 times was I unsatisfied.

The Not Bad: fast, cheap, and the general chicken was decent (sweet not spicy) The bad: the lo main was flavourless and the chicken in it was dry, fried rice was bland and I had to add soy sauce when I got home The worst: the veggie spring rolls are store bought (compliments brand, I watcher her take them out of the box) dropped into the fryer from frozen, they were crispy but wattery inside. Would not recommend or go back.

TERRIBLE New to Stoney Creek and need to find our new Chinese food place, well this isn't it. You get enough Sweet And Sour sauce for like 3 chicken balls, the rice tasted like it was freezer burnt and the rest of the food all taste the same. Go else where.

Delicious! Good pricing + large portions. We went to pick up our food and it was ready in time and it stayed hot for the whole ride back. We got the beef lo mein and the general tao chicken.

first time going to this place and it was the worst experience I have had anywhere. the lady at the front was running around like a chicken with her head cut off and could barely hold a conversation. They made my order completely wrong and would not take it back to replace it with what I did want instead they wanted me to pay for it. Absolutely ridiculous! The menu is bogus and half the dishes are not what you would normally expect at other Chinese restaurants. I would not reccommend this place to anyone. Food was poorly cooked and tasted subpar.
