Yummy food!!! 50/50 bacon burger...to die for. My second visit, just as good as the first one.

This restaurant has fabulous food....and super nice staff...We went with my daughter and son-in-law....once..the staffĀ was so accommodating, they made you feel like you had been coming in for a long time...so friendly....now it has become a weekly stop....serving size was very generous and the food (favorite sweet potato fries) delish.....they have, by far, the best burgers and fries in the city.....there may be a little wait time BUT it is worth the wait..Anything good isĀ worth waiting for....Please... try it out....you will be hooked...

This is the place to go in St. Catharines! My first visit was with my friends birthday and then I brought my family two days later. Everyone really enjoyed their meals!
Love the Chop House!. The Chop House is our favorite place to eat! They offer a variety of food options to meet our families needs and have a large selection of gluten free options that are out of this world! The service is amazing, food is fantastic and atmosphere is wonderful!
Monday 1/2 price wings. First time here today. 1/2 price lbs of wings ($5) with pint purchase ($5.25). Wings were above average. I enjoyed the buffalo flavour over the honey garlic. They have a great selection of food, beers on tap weren't the best to select from, but I couldn't complain since they had steamwhistle. The place itself was original, seems like a cool place to hang out and watch the game. I'll have to check it out again in the future and try their burgers

Maybe the best burger I have ever had. We lucked into finding this place while out shopping, and what a find it is. Everything is made in house, and the food and service was amazing. My wife and I split a lobster poutine (fantastic), while I had the Reuben burger, and she had the 50/50 burger. Honestly, neither one of us can shut up about how fantastic those burgers were. We will be back...a lot.
Best burgers in St Catharines. Bring your appetites portions are huge. Unique burgers that you can even add a fried egg to! Best fried pickles and awesome variety of Poutine! Totally see this place featured on "you Gotta Eat Here!"

This place rocked the burger - I had the 'Blue' with fries - excellent presentation, taste was a 10 and the fries were hand-cut with sea salt - perfection!
The staff at the Chop House Burger Bar were amazing! They took our hockey team of 40 at short notice, and brought on extra staff for our group. They went above and beyond to accommodate us and if I could give them a 10 I would! They were very friendly, food came out and our glasses were never empty. All the food that came out looked incredible, and tasted better than it looked! Great job!! When in St. Catherineās we will be back!!

Good food!! Only complaint is I asked for a substitute Caesar salad for garden salad they didnāt tell me it was a 4 dollar up charge ... more then poutine !! Well if I had known that I wouldāve got the poutine lol

Chop House is a neighborhood burger joint that is way better than a neighborhood burger joint. The menu has great selection, including lots of vegan and gluten free options. The portions for the food are extremely generous, and everything that Iāve tasted so far is great. The burgers especially have really well seasoned beef and are served on a fluffy bun. Most burgers and entrees come with two sides, which is an added plus. Considering all the specials they have going on, eating here goes way beyond the price.

Absolutely loved the food there! I had the Hally burger and the tacos. Very flavourful and prices were good. Only complaint was lack of waitstaff (one waitress during dinner rush) and they donāt have a drink menu! :(
So, Burgers. Many places do them well. Those guys do them to perfection. A simple and small place. Basic and homey service. Good beer collection. Very good appetizers. Great salad (that is always so fresh that my half-vegetarian wife looks forward to joining us).
But, most importantly... Out of this world burgers.
The 50/50 is their signature, but everything is very very good on the menu. Even what they call "Value menu" is amazing, just a smaller patty.
Which is not bad half the time.
You can do takeout, but why would you?
