Delicious food for a great price! You have your choice of dining in with proof of vaccination or going with takeout around the back. The menu offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items, so there’s something for everyone! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals! However, I would have appreciated more signage for the self serve drinks. I understand it’s quite busy so I think it’s a great idea, but for newcomers, a sign or two with some prices would be helpful. Overall, the food was great, I would highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for some tasty food in Sooke!

Looked for local not overpriced but quality breakfast. Cathy’s was a good surprise I was looking for and did not regret. Eggs Benny, egg sandwich are great breakfast options. Come over and support small local businesses.

We dined in twice while visiting Sooke and are thrilled to have found this gem! We enjoyed the down to earth, welcoming atmosphere and each of our meals was fantastic. Fresh, flavourful ingredients. Highly recommend the 'Bun On The Run' as every bite was delicious. We will definitely be missing having breakfast here and were impressed with the ladies working so hard while being so friendly, funny and a pleasure to chat with.
I just got the monte Carlo it was the best sandwich I've ever bought. My boyfriend got the honey mustard wrap and said it was the best wrap he ever got, the veggies are all crisp and fresh and they are generous with the portion!
We had a great experience! My boyfriend and I ordered the same thing which was a salmon egg benny and a bacon and egg benny. Although both were really good, the salmon benny was the way to go. The fish was so moist and well cooked. They put a lot of hollondaise sauce and the egg was good and runny. I wish I had more space to eat another salmon benny!! The vibe was also very cozy and you can tell the Cathy and her team love their job. The coffee was so good too. Definitely a must try in Sooke!!
You know a place is good when the locals visit. This is no exception. Super happy with all the food we got, even got a bun to go.
I would strongly recommend the breakfast bun with the extra veggies. Unbelievable value and taste, I'm so happy with it. We also got the Monte Carlo which was super cheesy, and the Shrimp Benny, highly recommend both of them.
Simply superb, I'd eat here every day if it wasn't on the other side of the country.
Little hole in the wall that's got tasty food! The bun on the run took me a minute to gobble it was soooo good !! It's a help yourself style ish spot, needed help from the locals first-time in here but now I've mastered it ! It's a nice pit stop in sooke if you don't want your timmies or mc donalds.

I ordered an omelet with home fries ok I have to admit the best home potatoes I've had in a restaurant usually potatoes are either mushy or dry these were delicious and the secret a cast iron skillet its cooked in ! So good!
Came here from the other side of the country. This is a gem of a restaurant for breakfast food. The salmon eggs benny is out of this world and the pancakes are fantastic!
