Always love the food , the staff, the locals, the music, the themes on holidays. Great place, great prices, they are still carrying on pub traditions from generations gone by. If you've never been, it aint too far, and its along the way ;)
I have been to this place before but never at the back patio deck . By far one of the best deck I have been too .
Dog friendly as well. Zeus and Apollo really enjoyed it �

A great little gem. Love the atmosphere of the heritage building and the patio layout is so open and inviting. Servers and staff were amazing. If you’re in the area I definitely recommending coming in for a few and/or a bite.
Oh my goodness this place was awesome!!! The seafood chowder in a sour dough bread bowl is the absolute best!!! The staff is friendly and very accommodating!!! I recommend this place to everyone just for the chowder alone!!! Yummy!!! Thank you for the greatness! I wish I could have this where I live. Such a beautiful restaurant and pub!!! The coconut and curry soup was the soup of the day and we tried that as well and was very tasty 😋
Together with my wife we had a very pleasant moment! Such a welcoming, warm atmosphere. The food was extraordinary and the service from their employees was the best I have received so far. We will surely return Let's go!
Our family loves this place. Been coming here for decade and finally managed to post review!Great food and service! My favourite is Jerk chicken what a tasty sandwich can't get enough of it! Burgers are great and kids love they food as well. Wife loves the chicken curry!
This is our go to place for dinner and drinks with family and friends. Historic building with lots of character, excellent menu, and great staff. Parking and accessibility has really improved since the highway upgrade.
A friend and I had lunch here. I had the baron beef with side salad and it was absolutely delicious, went well beyond my expectations. My friend had the fish and chips but was a little disappointed on the portion sizes but fish was good. Service was friendly but seemed like she forgot about us at the end as we waited 20 mins for the bill. Parking was tricky. We'll be back as overall we were satisfied. 🙂
I would definitely go back. Our menu items were good the service was good. They could update their bathroom.
the outside area was really pretty but we didn't sit outside because the music was too loud and it was too hot! It was a really cool place inside and they have lots of bar games and apparently kids can enjoy lunch there as well.
They apparently are not Toronto Maple Leaf fans!! 😂😂
Food was tasty, atmosphere was similar to an old english pub, server was attentive and friendly. Took quite awhile to get our food, which was good once it arrived. Easy location right off the hwy, lots of parking.
You need to stop here! If you are a tourist and just exploring the beautiful beaches along the islands coast this pub is the place to end your day!
Absolutely lovely environment, dog friendly area near the patio, perfect spot amongst the trees and the adjacent highway is not very loud or busy.
The drinks are awesome and they serve a great offering of local brews. Since being on the island, we just had to order seafood and we were not disappointed. The salmon burger and fish and chips are crazy good and perfect for those looking for a great island experience. We also got gravy with our fries which was tasty, light, and not too greasy.
There's an extra surprise here if you're a Leafs fan 😂
Stopped here for a nice lunch. I had a beef dip and my golf partner had breaded salmon-on-a-stick. We both enjoyed our meals and each had a local Sooke Oceanside Brewery beer, also excellent. Now that it’s off the highway things seem more relaxed and laid back. Definitely would go back again
