I can never travel to Saint John without going to the market specifically for the desserts at the baking stone. Very hard to pick a favourite as everything I have gotten has been too die for. If I had to pick one I would say the brownies are the best I have ever had and I have had a lot of brownies from many different places.

I was fortunate enough to try it on its last day of business. I had strawberry short cake, eclairs, apple scramble, creme brûlée, chocolate mousse. All were so good! I wish the owner the best!

I have visited this bakery often and have always enjoyed what I have purchased there. When I have taught cooking in the past I have emphasized that I want people to taste the flavours of what they are making and not just sugar, salt and/or fat. I have also enjoyed wonderful conversations with the owner and others who have worked there. This establishment provides good products and price is not an issue if the result is good.
