Hello! We are back at another Nando’s! Yes we come here pretty often but sometimes you just want to have some chicken in their signature sauce. To be honest I just come for the hot sauce and yes I know you can get them at the store but it’s different when you experience it in the restaurant!

Has been regular since this place opened. Employees always have a loving smile to cheer up your day. Quality of food is always at top notch quality and never had disappointed me. I had a experience how a employee had to deal with a nasty guest that just came for free food. The employee was very apologetic with the burnt chicken and was offering for replacement but there just wanted a refund. There is always nasty people bashing with reviews or does not accept employee apologies. In the end they wanted there full order refund which is unacceptable because they had eaten the other things they order and they complained when they only got the refund for the one they sent back. These people need to be called out for reality check honesty. They are the ones that ruin people's day.
Atmosphere is great and employees are always patient with guests. By far the best decked out Nandos I been to. Definitely worth revisiting because they always put guests first. No matter what the situation is they will try to make things right with guests.
Since Nando’s has a few different locations, this review will be focusing on the one in Richmond at the new Garden City Plaza. This is our go-to location even though we both don’t live in Richmond, we do love making the drive to Richmond. We like this location because it’s clean, nice inside, and has friendly staff.

Probably one of the nicest Nando's i've seen out there. More restaurant like space with great vibes. It still is semi self serve but yet is confusing. You are greeted and seated at a table by the hostess with a menu (a rooster peg is put at your table by your table number) but you order up at the till. If you order drinks the server will then bring cups to your table for you to get your own drink at the freedom coke machine (self serve water as well). A server will check on you once half way through your meal (unless you need to flag someone down) and take away the rooster peg (really not sure what the function of the peg is for). System just seems odd.
Food for the most part is great..chicken is moist. Caesar salad needs some work as it was underdressed. Portuguese buns were cold and hard..that was a huge turn off. I feel the suggested portions on the menu are skewed a bit. Ordered a family feast and while it said it would feed 3-4 it really only feeds 2..maybe 2 and a small child.
Other than that great location with ample parking...right across from the Walmart.
Nando’s Canada recently opened their latest restaurant in Richmond on Garden City (where Wal-Mart on Alderbridge Way). Nando’s is famous for its Portuguese style flamed-grilled PERi-PERi chicken. There is currently 39 restaurants Nationwide. The new Richmond location is by far the nicest Nando’s quick service restaurant that I’ve been to. This family friendly restaurant also hosts one of the world’s largest contemporary South African art collection inside their restaurants.
Nando’s Canada has open their latest location in Richmond on Garden City. Nando’s first opened in South Africa in 1987 and soon became famous for its Portuguese style flame-grilled chicken with their PERi-PERI sauce. They currently have 39 restaurants spanning 3 provinces. We came here for a sneak peek of their new space and try their famous chicken. We were served family-style, so it is a bit different than the usual order.
This is the closet Nando’s to the Vancouver airport, so I make sure any layover through Vancouver is always long enough for a quick uber ride to have lunch or dinner here. I have never been disappointed and with the food or service. Whenever we can we also try and stay at a hotel close by so we can have Nando’s every night we are there.
It was a great experience the staff was so friendly. They took care of all our needs. I have worked in this Food and Beverage Industry and I could say that they were professionals and knew exactly how to manage a restaurant. Amazing. The food was good as well. This will be my go to for Saturdays!!!

Now, let's talk food.
I don't know how they do it, but this is some of the tastiest chicken I have ever had.
Their technique for flavoring is top notch and I wish I could replicate it at home.
Come here if you're looking for one of the best, if not the best Chicken experience.

The peri-peri chicken is awesome here. Ordered extra spicy and it was delicious. The spice rice is not bad as well. Peri wedges were a little dry, but pop was unlimited refill. Overall great experience!!
Nandos in garden city is my go to place. The food is always served quickly and it always tastes amazing. The workers at Nandos are so welcoming and friendly. I’ve been to many Nandos in different locations however this one was my favourite because the environment in this Nandos is so positive and the food is always delicious. They never mess up an order! I recommend this Nandos to everyone!!
