The wait for the food was kind of long but I think out of all the dimsum, I enjoyed the bbq bun the most. The bun was still extremely soft when it came to the table and wasn''t as salty as other dimsum places. Overall, I would say if you are searching for an averaged price/quality dimsum place then this restuarant is perfect for you.
Great authentic dim sum. 8.... Great authentic dim sum.
8 people, could not eat another mouthful, $121!!!
Great value. Traditional service!!!
Deceiving Rating!. Whoa! 45% approval rating! I've eaten at some truly awful restaurants that had better ratings than this! I'm glad I didn't see this before walking in!
I don't know why everyone's so down on this restaurant. It's a little stale in decor, but no worse than most typical Chinese restaurants. The servers speak a little curtly, but I expect that from Chinese restaurants as well!
They offer a $10 special menu, in addition to the regular menu. Ten dollars is a good price for dishes around here and you get quite a bit for your buck.
The gai lan came well made and crunchy. In fact, most of the vegetables taste crispy, which is nice since a lot of Chinese restaurants overcook veggies. The accompanying beef tastes smooth and tender. The Szechuan spicy beef didn't taste very spicy but that's also expected. Most of the Chinese I know do not handle spicy very well so you won't see many habanero peppers in the food.
The food here tastes completely competent and the prices are good. I don't see why so many people hated the place.
