Went here on a Sunday for a classic Hong Kong style breakfast two eggs two sausage and two piece of toast, the eggs were small the sausage where slim and the toast were thin, but the taste was just right and the price was economical, so I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a classic Hong Kong style breakfast.
Matches everything I am looking for. Good Service, Good Food and Good Price! Only minor objection is their schedule. Lady at cashier always remember my order...:)
I've been coming here for lunch since I work nearby, and I must say this is a small gem in the area if you're looking for cheap yummy Hong Kong food. I ordered the Beef w/ Blackbean sauce, there wasn't any red bell peppers as shown in the photos but over all it was delicious. The sauce is seasoned just right and the beef was very tender. During my second visit I ordered the Beef w/ Tomato which was disappointing. The sauce was bland and watered down, not tomatoey enough and the beef was a bit tough, wouldn't recommend that. But I would come back again!
Fast, satisfying chow mein. When almost everywhere else is raising prices, Paul's Kitchen hasn't. Delicious, greasy, crispy noodles made extremely quickly for take out. I've never eaten there, but everything I've had for take out was delicious. All the noodles (Singapore vermicelli, black pepper chow mein, beef black bean chow mein) are served in a large potion size and nice and crispy with tasty sauce. They also do Hong Kong style iced tea and will give you chili oil with your take out if you ask. Great quick option.
Not much else to say about this place, just a great place for a cheap meal. The total bill came to just under $20, with a can of coke as well. Service was friendly and quite prompt. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!
This place is phenomenal! With fresh, delicious and huge portions it's one of the best hidden gems within richmond. The staff is extremely. Although the space is a little tight, the amazing food and large options takes the restaurant to a huge level.10/10 would go again
Tried this reataurant on my recent trip to Vancouver. Keep in mind that this restaurant takes only cash so be sure to have some with you. I had the beef with the pepper sauce. For the price you pay of under $15, the beef serving were more than generous and it also includes a drink and the free soup as well. The staff were more than helpful to me and the taste of food was awesome especially the sauce. Truly a hidden gem!
Always hot fresh HK style breakfast never fails. Price is always fair will always come for my quick morning breakfast.

Hidden gem serving simple, no-frills HK cafe eats. You'll find classic breakfast and cafe options at cheap prices for good food. It won't be the best thing you've ever eaten but it's 100% bang for your buck and comforting food. So for the price in Vancouver much less, 5 stars for Paul's Kitchen.
We got a satay beef instant noodle and the pan-fried pork chop with curry sauce over rice. Both had tender pieces of meat and the curry sauce they have is very reminiscent of the true HK cafe flavour. The food is also served in disposable take out containers.
The ladies working the front were nice and efficient. The place has a bit of a grungy vibe but I think that was part of the experience.
