Working in the middle of nowhere, you have to make do with what you can get in your limited time when you forget to bring lunch. Looking around on Google Maps, hours prior to my lunch break, I came across Tugboat Annie’s. Unless you work around here, or heard recommendations of the place, you will not venture our so far to know that such a place existed. It is a grungy looking pub, set to be for middle aged men and their game nights, tucked all the way at the end of Graybar Rd. Looking through their menu, I saw the words “Lamb” and “Burger” together, and I knew it was a calling.
Patron. I went to my favorite pub that I frequent each weekend and have had many fun events only to find out that our bartender who is the heartbeat of the pub was let go today. There are many pubs in the lower mainland but no pub has ever made me leave my home base of Steveston to enjoy every weekend of Sunday brunch, tugboat races, super bowl Sunday, need I go on. Today was the day that Tugboats lost its heart, our favourite bar tender, the heartbeat, soul, and energy was let go. Please to all who have been there bring Darin back. From the moment we walk in the door there was no hay how are you, no automatic know what we wanted, no connection at all. The staff is heartbroken and the new bar tender can take their attitude back downtown. Bring back Darin and let Tugboat's heart beat again.

Great server, the food is good and at the standard you expect from a pub. A bit salty and greasy but it's a pub come on! Pretty good, and I'd definitely come back.
Good service, loved the torpedo shrimp and dill sauce, the burgers were real patties no soy burgers, love coming here great scenery
Not commenting on the food as I didn't try any. The patio of this out-of-the-way spot was awesome. Very calm environment. Nice servers. Nice place for a pint.
Good pub food!. Been to Tugboat Annie's 4-5 times now, and have not had a bad experience yet. Waitresses have always been friendly and quick with drink refills, and while the food is nothing to rave about, I've always left happy.
