Food looks/smell great...with the amount of money they charge/make...should hire more staff!! Poor girl serving overworked. . Took 10+ minutes just to get menu.. .in January!! Would hate to see how long the wait is in season!

Good Food. Wow - I've never seen a 25% approval rate for a restaurant! And I'm finding it hard to understand why. The service is fast, efficient and friendly, and the food tastes good.

The raw oysters come with two sauces, both of which are delicious. The mussels and clams are made simply, allowing their natural flavours to take over. The crab cakes are a bit small, but well done. The pan fried oysters are plumb and well cooked.

The food at shady island is very average. Not many thrills and excitements but the meals are satisfying. There is never a wait to get inside so you have less frustration then all of the other restaurants in Stevenson.
