The staff at Boy With A Knife are super friendly and helpful! They catered a wedding for us and put together a spectacular buffet and were very attentive throughout the whole event. I would highly recommend them!
Love it here!! Great home made food, friendly efficient staff, and lovely atmosphere. My new favorite go-to place for fast but healthy and tastey lunch.

We reached out to BWAK to cater our 100-person wedding back in 2021, and we were immediately blown away at the tasting. More than any other caterer we reached out to, they took into account what we were looking for and created a super customized menu that somehow managed to bring together Chinese and Ukranian flavours into a pescatarian feast with lots of vegan-friendly options. In the lead up to our wedding, Joey at BWAK worked closely with us in figuring out the schedule and logistics, and took a lot off our plates by managing rentals, set-up, etc.
On the day of the wedding, everyone at BWAK went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. All of the staff we interacted with were lovely and also very professional, and went above and beyond - including replacing a few lightbulbs in the venue that had burnt out, without us having to say anything! - and kept everything running smoothly.
And the food was absolutely delicious: everything perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and enjoyed by all. Thanks everyone at BWAK!
Wasn’t impressed too much but definitely a doable spot while waiting around.. I’d give it 3.5 star rating as the burger was to dry, the mushrooms barely existed and the garlic fries wasn’t worth the extra $5 … the poke bowl was okeish again rice was too dry but can’t go wrong with salad 🙈🙈
My son has dropped in a few times and told me how much he enjoyed it, and had to pay them a visit.
The place is beautiful inside, with such a "Home" feel to it! They have a roomy and comfy indoor seating area, with an outdoor patio area. The food is amazing, generous portions, and the staff are great! Definitely a great place to take family, friends, co-workers, or a nice lunch or dinner with spouse!
Highly recommend and will return to try other menu items!

I had the privledge of helping a friend with her Celebration of Life for her mom. I had contacted about 5 caterers but Boy with a Knife stuck out to me. I loved their selection of platters, the variety and the choices for vegetarians. Tanya and Joey were so easy to deal with and so accommodating. The presentation of the food was beautiful and so very tasty. I would highly recommend them and would use them again without hesitation.
Nice relaxing restaurant vibes with fresh good food. Tried the Seattle Dog and salad, sausage was excellent salad was nice. Only drawback was the hot dog bun tasted like those grocery store villagio or dempster buns that have additives. Would totally be a five star if they used fresh baked bakery bun for the hot dog like they do for the burger which is excellent. But an awesome restaurant and would definitely still reccomend!
We happened upon this unexpected, tucked away gem yesterday! I am on the road for work a lot, and have had more than a couple of burgers ans deli meals jn my travels, including a couple of places from Diners, Drive Ins and Dives (Bartleys in Harvard Square, Manny's in Chicago). The burger I ordered (Miso burger) was the best I have had, period. Also had their corn chowder, amazing! My family raved about their food as well. Great service, fun servers, friendly chefs and an adjoining market to boot! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
This place is fantastic, it’s got a great vibe to it. Food is marvellous, couldn’t recommend more. Wanna come back and try every dish!
