An excellent Gateway to Europe without having to step onto an aircraft.
Small spot, with cozy atmosphere. Good range of nibbles, and a good, if brief, wine list - wine flights are available. We had the cheese balls (very good), humus (nice tang to it), and shared the charcuterie plate. Attentive friendly service.

We have been in more than a couple of times for a glass of wine and loved the atmosphere. Tonight was the first time we came in to try the food. I think it speaks volumes that my partner's comment was 'why haven't we been eating here every night'
The Porthole is a breath of fresh air in Steveston. It's the kind of place you can really take a moment to connect over great small bites and a glass of wine or beer. The food is thoughtfully prepared, fresh and delicious. Welcoming friendly service and the interior decor is so well done, they have great taste. It is our favourite spot in the village by far.
This place is awesome. The owners get to know you and always remember who you are. They have events as well super fun!!!! Diffinately have to come have a beverage.
