My boyfriend and I had lunch here a few days ago. We were greeted upon entrance and were seated right away. The inside of the restaurant looks a little old and not as clean. I got the LA Burger while my bf got the New York Steak. After about 12 mins, we got our food. I was surprised with how big the serving was! Mine came with salad and potatoes. The burger was okay. I love how it had everything I want in a burger (bacon, mushroom, cheese) but the beef itself had this taste I can't quite describe. They added some sort of sauce which I didn't really like. Other than that, the service is quite good and the prices are reasonable.
This is one of my mom's favourite places to eat at in Richmond when we're craving Western food because it's cheap and the food is executed pretty well too! This place is often packed because a lot of their menu items are under $10. Although their selection isn't huge, they are consistent with delivering good value. I ordered the souvlaki the last time I was here and wasn't as impressed as I was with their pasta and steak. If you're looking for a fancy place, this isn't it. But if you are looking to dine within budget, this is the place to go.
The portions here are huge in my opinion! I ordered the calamari here many times and it would always be served on a huge plate. And then I would share it between me and my other friend.
I like the varieties that LA Grill offers, they have burgers, pastas, and some greek. I personally like the burgers! After 8PM they offer special deals on the burgers for just under $10 which is pretty worth it.
So I've heard about this restaurant from a couple people before but never got around to checking it out until recently when I was in the area with my colleagues. Definitely some decent sized, decent tasting, inexpensive eats. 75% of the dishes are under $8 and filled with so much flavour. Not your neighbourhood keg or cactus, but definitely beats a whitespot and other pricey options that offer small servings. Simple and industrial feel to this resto, almost homey at times. Perfect for "breaking-the-ice" ;p
How great are their inexpensive eats! One can be satisfied here with the mere cost of $12. I enjoyed a marvellous meal that consisted of tender steak, zesty salad, tasty potatoes, bread, and rice. I also enjoyed a delicious hot bowl of clam chowder. Although I was filled, the steak was under-seasoned, and the bread quickly became stale as it cooled. Ultimately, it was an above-par meal, and I would certainly return.
LA Grill is known for inexpensive eats. Most of the dishes on the menu are below $10. We had an even better deal this time around because of a Groupon promotion.
Good food, good service. Great service here, i love the people working here they are really polite and the food is really good also, i like it a lot and i really recomend it
Not bad. Greeted with a big smile and seated at our tables instantly. The waitress was beautiful and extremely helpful. During our meal at the place, she kept on coming back to our table and checking on us, which was good. One thing though, the price is a bit too expensive for the amount of food they were serving, left with an empty stomach.
