Having Pajo's famous fish and chips w sriracha sauce and ketchup while watching the sun set at Stevenson. The seating is right outside the beach area.
Locally-renowned fish and chips joint. Quality of the fish is excellent which is as to be expected from a restaurant so close to Steveston's waterfront. Garry Point location is beautiful, especially in the summer time. Only criticisms I can really make are the prices here are a tad pricey, the fries could be better and I wish they were more generous with their tartar sauce portions.
It's hard to miss this very popular fish and chips joint right by the dock when visiting Steveston Village. An all time favorite, the fish and chips are a staple and nobody can dispute their freshness and tastiness! Definitely a must if you find yourself in that part of town. Of course, it gets BUSY on a nice sunny day, but it's always worth the wait and the service is speedy!
A popular area for tourists and yes, I would recommend this place to snack on, share that is. I wouldn't have a full meal to myself since there's tons of food places here. We went for the classic cod fish and chips. You can tell their oil is consistently clean. Fresh fish, moderate light batter, crispy fries... And that lemon to cut the fat on the fish batter.. Lovely. Lots of seating here. The tables have cone holders too haha. Very DOG friendly here which I love. Nothing like a sunny day with your furry friend here enjoying some fish :-)
Really flaky fish and fast service! I like how they give you a carrying tray to bring to the tables. Not really a fan of the chips but the portion is big.
Defiantly my fav summertime spot. Bike rides and pajos always go extremely well together! I always go for the fully loaded dog but it's know for being the best fish and chips in town! And the tartar sauce is to die for
I came here during the weekend for lunch and holy smokes.. the line up was super long! I ordered a large ( ling cod + fries). The fish was delicious but I wasn't a huge fan of their fries because they were quite burnt.
I visit Pajo's often and every time I do, it seems like the fish pieces gets smaller and smaller! What's up with that?! Not impressed.
Have been a regular customer for years. Love the fish and chips! However recently they changed something about the fries - maybe a different potato or oil. Fries have been kind of gross and bright white instead of "yellow".
