• situated at the docks, you won't miss it as they always have long line ups
• pricey for me $3.50 for a cone wish its only $2 then I'll go more often
• attentive service
Summer seems to have come and gone so quickly in Vancouver this year and now we’re well into Fall. That won’t stop me from reminiscing about our trip down to Steveston back in August when we picked up some of Timothy’s frozen yogurt.
Appropriately known as “froyo”, there’s nothing better than enjoying a stroll down the Steveston boardwalk while eating some of this yummy and cooling treat. Here we have the Mixed Berry Froyo ($5.25) in a freshly made waffle cone.
Looks like Sophie wants some!
If froyo ain’t your jam, they also serve up some killer gelato. Check out our last post where we tried some of their White Chocolate Raspberry Gelato.
Love that this is near the triple lures at Steveston. Tried their fresh frozen yogurt. They mix fresh fruits into a yogurt right in front of you and it's really fresh. This is served on a fresh waffle cone that was still warm! I had a blueberry yogurt, but you can mix fruit flavours. A lil pricey, but it was pretty good.
When I'm at Steveston, more often than not, I stop by Timothy's to grab a cup/cone of their delicious ice cream. My ultimate fave is their white chocolate raspberry! It's heaven!! I also enjoy their hedgehog. Too bad they don't do samples anymore. Their cup/cone is quite expensive too but that's expected of ice cream places. Love this place nonetheless!
When you’re walking around Steveston on a sunny day, it’s best to grab some ice cream to go. Timothy’s Frozen Yogurt is conveniently located on the pier and serves gelato, sorbetto, and frozen yogurt. They made my waffle cone fresh and filled it with white chocolate raspberry gelato for $5. The cone was a bit on the wide size which made it difficult to eat. However, the gelato was quite good and super creamy.
Came here on this sunny Saturday morning, yogurt for breakfast is totally healthy, right? (;
I got the cranberry frozen yogurt ($5 with waffle cone), which was freshly blended with their colourful assortment of frozen fruits right in front of me. Their waffle cones were also made right away, and was still warm to the touch when I got my treat. As a result, the frozen yogurt started melting a bit, perhaps it would've been better to have the cone cool down a bit first.. but nonetheless, delicious! The waffle cone was nice and crispy, while the yogurt was thick, fruity and creamy. I would definitely recommend it! (4/5)
They also serve coffee and gelato. The only down side is the limited seating, but most customers would probably take it to go anyways.
Food: 4/5 | Service: 3/5 | Value: 4/5 | Ambiance: 3/5
Wow let me tell ya, when it's a cash only place, alot of people get grumpy lol. My girlfriend and I heard a customer inside yell at the workers saying "you just lost a customer since it's cash only." Seriously, was that necessary? It's just frozen yogurt LOL! Anyhow...
This is my first time trying it. My girlfriend has had it before. We got the berry frozen yogurt. Was there wow factor? Ehhhhhhh it was close, just a tad bit shy of it. Don't get me wrong, it is good! To my surprise the waffle cone is warm and I thought the cone was delicious. Service is good as well. I still enjoyed the evening out strolling the marina with bae and husky pup.
I don't usually eat frozen yogurt, but this place is just amazing! You get to choose your own fruits and they just blend it right in front of you! You can even mix fruits, like strawberry-banana, or blueberry-cherry. And what I love the most about them is they make their waffle cones fresh, and when it's served to you, it's still warm and super crispy. Fresh ingredients, and healthy yummy treat, what else do you ask for? Oh, and if froyo is not your thing, they have regular ice cream with many flavor selections too!
This place absolutely kills the cone game! The aroma of fresh waffle cones is to die for. Their waffle cones are made fresh right before your eyes and are just absolutely delicious. Not to mention they make an amazing frozen yogurt. My personal favourite is the mango gelato. Best ice cream place in Steveston. I'd recommend checking it out or at least just smelling the inside of this place if you're down there.
My parents spontaneously decided to go to Steveston so I decided to tag along. I saw some wild swans and even caught a glimpse of a sea lion!!! Totally made my day!. My mom and I shared the single scoop of the Mango Frozen Yogurt. The scoop was a lot bigger than I expected. You get to choose which frozen fruit you want to mix into your yogurt and they mix it right in front of you. They have mango, peach, blueberry, raspberry etc. It was pretty fast! Flavour wise it was cold, smooth and fruity.
Walking past this popular Steveston locale, you immediately get hit by the aroma of freshly made waffle cones. And who doesn't love a good waffle cone?
They do both frozen yogurt and gelato. My go-to order here is usually the mixed berry frozen yogurt.
On a sunny weekend, the lines can get long. But well worth it.
Delicious ice cream and waffle cones. The surrounding area is a nice place to walk around and features a great view.
Always one of our favorite stops here. How can you go wrong with ice cream or gelato? But no durian for me though.
Nice for an afternoon walk.
Have been coming here for at least 10 years. I always get the frozen yogurt with the waffle cone and it’s always delicious.
However the last few times I’ve noticed that they don’t make the waffle cones fresh behind the counter anymore.
Very large selection of gelato. They even have durian flavour! Workers were very friendly, and the scoops are quite generous. On a sunny day, there was a long line up that moved quite quickly.
