We arrived in Quebec at the same time as two shiploads of tourists from two huge cruise liners. Old Quebec Cify was overrun by people and we knew we better grab something to eat before the lunchtime rush. Spag&tini wasn't overly busy, but it wasn't empty either so we decided that this might be a good choice. Dad and I just wanted something light so we ordered the minestrone soup, French onion soup and a garlic cheesy toast to share. Despite looking tiny, both soups were hearty and filling, and so flavourful. The toast was not garlicky enough, but was most definitely cheesy. As the place started filling up near to the end of our meal, service became very disorganised and slow. Took at least 15 minutes to get our bill. A chocolate covered marshmallow for each diner came with the bill; a nice touch and a good way to appease the impatient crowds.
Had the chance to eat at Spagh&tini during our tour in Québec city. Very nice ambience and staff. The soup was a delight as well as the Champlain pizza. Totally worth it.
Definitely more reasonable than the other restaurants nearby.
Went in as guided by our tour guide. The interior had an old world charms typical of Old Quebec and was delighted by the place.
Service was excellent. The waitress helped us decide on the menu and also made a special vegetarian pizza for my friend who is a vegetarian.
I sampled the pork tenderloin with apple and maple sauce.
Was delicious. It also came with an Entree of liver pate which though samll was really superb.
Tried a glass of house beer. Passable.
On the whole definitely recommended.
And its right next to where the tour buses drop you and pick you up. So when on a bus tour to Quebec, this is the place to go.
Pretty good. More reasonably priced then other restaurants. my pasta was good. boyfriend liked his french onion soup-buy I have tried better. my boyfriend also ordered pasta with mushrooms, sausage and smth else-and by the look on his face-he didnt like it.. service was very good 8.5/10, but you gotta know what to order.
Great food, great view. We enjoyed a terrific lunch outdoors under the iconic yellow umbrellas. Delicious soup as an appetizer, excellent thin-crust pizzas, and tasty deserts. Service was extremely friendly and efficient, and included a coloring book for our 2-year old. All staff were fluent in French and English, so I was able to practice my French with a safety net. As an aside, the name isn't a typo: "and" in French is "et", pronounced "eh". Spag&tini is very conveniently located at the bottom of the incline/elevator (so it has a great view of Frontenac) and is directly across the street from the ferry terminal and Ecolo bus - very easy $1 ride to/from the upper town.
