Quite possibly the BEST restaurant we dined at in the last two weeks. The owner renovated the space that was vacated by a 5 diamond resturant. The chef was the sous chef and now the main chef at BEC. (23 yr old)! They designed the space and decor together a year ago and I found it to be both BEAUTIFUL and chic'.
The cheese and meat platter was phenomenal. Made on site dry aged sausage, elk jerky, local cheeses, homemade bread and pickles.
Then... 45 day aged elk tataki and a smoky bbq wing plate. We finished with a BEC original S'mores, (handmade marshmallows). White chocolate creme brulee and coffee.
I would (and we did) recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experince.
Amazing bistro with fresh and local ingredients! The three owners are passionate about the food and provide a small, but hearty menu of Quebec specialties with a gourmet flair. Not to be missed!
Best place we ate in our 4 days in Quebec City. The proprietor was friendly and helpful answering all our questions. The food was of the highest quality and amazing flavor. Will be eating here when I return to the city.
