Just...wow. What a hidden gem of a place. For the travellers out there going to or passing by Parry Sound, make the pit stop. You will not be disappointed. Note that it's not a sit down restaurant but he does have picnic tables outside for the summer months. But it doesn't matter. Just stand there and eat. It's worth it.

Working in the area and seen the reviews online about this place. Amazing fresh ingredients and the sauce is so good! Could not wait to get home so did a tasting in the parking lot! Definitely recommend, will try the other amazing items next time. Great pick up window where they call your name so you can wait on your car. Nicely done!!

We ordered the "shipwreck" in advance and only waited a few minutes to pick it up. The staff kindly made one substitution for us. The pizza was delicious - the best crust on a pizza that I remember ever having. We ate out front on the picnic tables. The road was a little busy so we lost a few points for ambiance. Next time I would order 2 pizzas and pair them with a nice wine.
Very friendly group of young employees staffing this pizza place on the Monday night we drove in. The pizza was prepared quickly and cooked to perfection, lots of fresh toppings on top and the variety of pizza combinations will definitely draw you back in.

What an incredible gem! My friends and I were in Parry Sound over the July 1st, 2022 weekend to enjoy the fireworks and live music. Little did we know that when we picked up our wood oven pizzas from Maurizio’s Pizzeria it would be the best pizza any of us have ever had (and we like to think we are pizza experts by now)! The flavour was incredibly delicious. The pizza was cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional! We couldn’t believe that a little town (we are from the big city) would be such a wonderful experience for all of us. We also were treated to homemade raspberry sorbet. We will definitely be back! The owner was so kind and explained his ‘pizza journey’ to us. He is a pizza chef and learned a lot throughout his travels to Italy. Make sure you stop at Maurizio’s Pizzeria if you find yourself in Parry Sound. Such authenticity. (Hard to come by these days). You won’t be disappointed! 😊

If you like different, this Pizzeria is for you. I'm not a pizza lover, however it was recommended. I had the vegan "funguy" pizza - thin crust loaded with mushrooms, capers & artichokes. You need a fork to eat all the vegetables. There is a lot of choices of toppings & the employees are students who are very helpful in assisting you. Also the service is fast.
Stopped by Parry Sound on the way to camping at Killbear and decided to try Maurizio's for lunch. What a great experience! The pizza was delicious and they took good care of our group. Definitely worth trying if you are in the area.
It was best and delicious pizza. It tastes like a true Italian pizza because a Canadian man went over to Italy to learn about how to make Italian pizza at school. I'm happy to eat the finest pizza in Parry Sound Ontario Canada.
