Delicious food. If you plan to use delivery, do not order using Just Eat but rather another service provider. Nightmare experience that ended, unbelievably, with the owner having to deliver the food herself -- which (I think) says something of her dedication.
Don't get thrown off by the decor!!! The staff is extra friendly and caring. The food was absolutely amazing. If you have eaten real authentic tortillas from Latin America, you will recognize the taste! Enchiladas were perfect and the margarita also!!!!! No complaints!!!! Read the ceiling, cute little posters to keep you entertained
The best Mexican food in Ottawa. Cantina Sur has provided the real and delicious Mexican food. We really enjoyed their tacos. Definitely we will come back again.
Great food and music. Great food. Live music. Decent prices. Chilled atmosphere. This bar/restaurant is perfect for a relaxed date. They also have one of the cheapest pitchers in town at $12. I came here with my boyfriend last night and ordered a bunch of pork tacos. Holy crap. I'm pretty sure they were the best we've ever had. Very juicy and flavorful. This joint is run by the owners themselves. Which means you get the friendliest service, although not the fastest. But who cares. We had a great time and recommend it.
Amazing Authentic Mexican Food. This is my go-to Mexican place, they serve REAL Mexican food and it's not too pricey. The service is excellent, the staff always treats me like family, and they make sure to let me know they appreciate me as a customer. The Gorditas and Tres Amigos are to die for, as well as their yucas fritas which are just like my grandma used to make them, but the best for sure is the Cake de Tres Leches, a must-have for dessert.

Nice authentic Mexican. Our group had burritos, tacos, yuca fries and guac. All awesome and all authentic unlike the tex-mex restaurants. Very reasonably priced, too. We will be going back.
The Best Mexican Restaurant in Town.. I had a burrito for lunch today! it was really good but the brest part was the Yucas Fritas they are my amazing.

Delicious food. If you want to go out for lunch but eat like mom cooked you need to go to Cantina Sur.... Great food, good portions, great prices and free Wifi!!
