His donair was very good. If you crave the sweet sauce that Kojax used to have then you'll love his version.

Okay...I've been stuck at the hotel across from the mall where the grand pita is and I've eaten there at least 5 times.... always the same donair and toppings of my choosing with his excellent sweet sauce ....the other food looks great too...but that donair man!
Edit. My last day in town went to have a donair and fries...no fries but if you get there at 11am he just finishes making the deep fried chunks of potato for garlic potatoes...11 am .be there

I've been going here for years, the food is amazing! The chicken and beef is always fresh and the owner is very friendly.
I highly recommend you add sweet sauce to your shawarma, it will level the taste to 10stars when it is already 5 stars.

My favourite shawarma shop in town.
Best beef donair I've ever had, and I've eaten a lot of beef donair. I ate my lunch and then went back to get three more to take home for the family for dinner! Owner was super friendly and kind. It's tragic that this little shop is stuck at the back of an empty food court in a dead mall.

This is my favourite place to get a donair in Ottawa. My wife loves the shawarmas here too. I'm lucky to live close by to satisfy my craving. The staff are always cheerful and friendly.
I had my first Donair from La Grand Pita today, which I enjoyed as much as my daughter enjoyed her Chicken Shawarma. I will definitely return.
Surprisingly good for food court shawarma, love the garlic sauce. It's a bit pricey but portion size is pretty good. The guy who works there most times I've visited is always very friendly. Thumbs up IMO!
I love this shawarma place, it is the best place in Ottawa. I eat there a few times a week and I see one person mention owner not wearing gloves. It is a lie, I always see him with gloves and service is always of quality and very clean.
A fantastic shawarma shop everything is as fresh as you will fnd anywhere. Their potatoes and garlic sauce are both amazing and although it may be a couple dollars more than some places the portions are very generous and well worth the money. I travel by half a dozen other shawarma to get here. Spring for the platter you won't be disappointed
My favorite Shawarma place in Ottawa! Friendly and fast service, so much flavour. It is well worth the price because it's real meat. If you're on a budget you can order a falafel.
