I have been in Ottawa from last 6 months and this place is one of my favourite to order Indian food, I specially like their Chicken Biryani a lot, besides this their Daal is also good and yes they serve spicy food as per Indian way we just need to ask them, they also do late night deliveries during weekend which we love most. A good place to order Indian food.
This is the most amazing Indian restaurant that I have been to anywhere in Ottawa, Toronto or Montreal. I recently moved to Ottawa on business from the UK, so I know good desi food. The lamb korma and chicken biryani are the best that I have had anywhere. I have been back several times and Chillies never disappoints. I recently took a chance in having Chillies cater an event at my work. Their service and food was top notch, in fact we have already reserved our xmas party there.
The servers are skilled and competent. The Chef is a magician. And the management are responsive to the subtleties that distinguish Chillies from the rest of the pack.
I am sure that the restaurant is a labor of love, and the management and staff give it a whole lot of TLC. I'll be back!
Their Indian food is really good and decently priced! I've always gotten take out here therefore I cannot comment on the service. Large portions, great food.
We always get takeout here and its always great. Solid dishes, decent portions, and a wide variety make this one of our go to takeout restaurants in the city. The food was a little off for several months but theyve definitely put their best foot forward recently.
The food was really quite good. Great prices and large portions. I've taken out and say down now and have to say that it is a very nice place to fine with family or friends. Very polite and friendly staff. I will definatly be coming back!
Some of the best Indian food in Ottawa. Went there for dinner last night for the first time. I had always ordered take-out from Chilies but never sat in to eat.

Food was absolutely amazing!! We discovered that they dont just serve Indian but they serve Indo-Chinese food. I had never tried this food before and it has now become my favorite! Flavors were incredible.
Also, prices were very fair for the portion size.

OMG Chillies Tandoor never disappoints. The best butter chicken in the city without doubt and in a junkie. Naan to die for and price makes me come back over and over. These guys know their Indian cuisine.
On par with best in TO. On a recommendation from a friend, I tried out Chillies for the first time yesterday and had a superb meal. The Daal Bokhara (black lentil), Bhaingan Bharta (eggplant) and Kadai Beef were all honestly the best Indian dishes I've had in Ottawa. The appetizers (veg samosa and veg pakora) were good, but not at the level of the main course dishes. Servings were generous for the price. No idea why it has only an 80% rating (at time of writing).
A rare find. We ordered take out and it did not disappoint. In was the best indian food we have had in Ottawa. The Mixed Tandoori grill, Garlic Naan, Kadai prawns and Harayali Kebab were all tender and spiced perfectly. The food was obviously fresh and the servings were generous. Will be trying the entire menu.
Some of the best Indian in Ottawa. Everything we ordered was fantastic. From the fresh naan with its crispy/flaky/chewy texture to the Chicken Tikka MasalaTandoori with its tender chicken pieces prepared with spices, fresh onions, tomatoes and coriander garnished with match sticks of ginger sooooo tasty. You know it was made fresh because the onion pieces were still firm and had texture to them. The
Kadai Lamb cooked on a wok with tomatoes, bell peppers, onions and a touch of exotic spices had a nice heat to it with cardamom prevalent. The saag paneer creamy,perfect compliment to the heat in our meals. We will definitely be making this a regular dining spot.
