Epitome of "hole in the wall".
Little place around my 'hood is run by a friendly guy (Rasta-man) who cooks up a mean jerk chicken. Combine it (or the bbq chicken) with rice n' peas and a bland salad and the whole package is ready to take home for a great meal! The chicken and beef Jamaican patties are also pretty good.
Looks unassuming but it is the best Caribbean food I've had in Ottawa. Much appreciated.

My boyfriend and I found this little gem of a place yesterday and i have to admit the food was AMAZING!!! hands down the best jerk and BBQ chicken. I also got the curry goat for work the next day and it was to die for. I will most defiantly be a regular at this place. Not to mention the owner is such a cool dude. Customer service , food, Prices, EVERYTHING was amazing. Everyone needs to give this place a try.

Amazing jerk chicken, rice and beans and coleslaw for $7. Their jamaican patties and curries are also delicious. I'd highly reccomend to anyone who's in the area. Way more satisfying than shawarma! Never thought I'd hear myself saying that..

Incredible. The ultimate comfort food. We had the jerk chicken and chicken roti. Both had amazing spice and depth of flavor. Fried dumplings and jamaican patties were awesome too. The owner was a really nice guy. You must try this place.

Jamaican food! This is a great little place tucked into a side street. Quick and tasty meals at reasonable prices, takeout style (they have a few tables where you can eat if you like). I enjoyed their jerk chicken and fried chicken (comes with rice and beans, and coleslaw). The jerk chicken is moderately spicy and wonderfully aromatic; the fried chicken is lightly crispy and has a slightly sweet sauce. Apparently the roti is also fantastic.
