We've been coming here for a few years and the place is totally awesome. Have tried a few pubs in westboro but always seem to gravitate here. The food is probably the best pub food at least in Ottawa. Very innovative and everything is just a bit different from the usual pub fare...and full of flavour. Can't say enough, try it out you won't be disappointed! Oh and kid friendly as well!
Came here for a quick snack. Time from ordering to table couldn't have been longer than 10-15 minutes max. Had the hot wings and guac as appetizers. (Sorry for the blurry picture! The way they served the guacamole was neat, in a little tortilla cup) Loved the guac, especially after having craved it! Wings were crispy with sauce on side, but it was good-nothing particularly special.
Bathrooms were clean...key trait of any good food joint..
And the atmosphere was cool. Unique pub decor. Tv screens everywhere if you wanna catch a game. Our server was attentive and quick, mind you it wasn't busy for 330 on a Saturday

If you're looking for a full stomach done right, do stop by here. Nice rooftop patio. Delicious Caesar. Big juicy burgers. Happy man. Need I say more? $70 for two with drinks and tip. Worth it.

Back to Churchills, this time in the dead cold of winter. Weekday evening so a couple tables were open when we arrived. The only negative thing was I could feel a draft the whole time, and we were in the middle of the restaurant, not near the door : ( Otherwise we again left satisfied. He had the chefs creation pasta, and the smell as it hit the table was enough to make my mouth water. The sun dried tomato cream sauce looked a bit oily, but I didn't taste it and my better half loved it. The portion was so big he had to take some home and that never happens. Ever. I had the burger once again, and the flavor combo of burger, fries, salad and spicy Caesar was exactly what I was looking for. The burger was juicy but not greasy, and full of flavor.
85 for two with 2 drinks. Thanks again Churchills for a hearty meal with fresh flavors.

Atmosphere is relaxed and exactly what you would picture for an upscale pub.
Tried the Gluten free fajita nachos, they were good, not good enough for a "re-do".
Company had chicken wings, thumbs up on the sauces! Maple garlic / BBQ were flavorful and memorable.
Caesar's are outstanding.
Fantastic pub, wings and fish/chips were amazing.
Local brews and amazing rooftop patio.
Do yourself a favour a go.
I had the Baked Mac and Cheese meal and it was delicious.
Truth of the matter. So in reviewing some of the comments about Churchill's Pub in Westboro, I have found that the accuracy of some comments must be mistaken for another restaurant, on another continent.
This quaint and cozy little pub has so much to offer everyone and continues to impress me. As a frequent flyer at this establishment, I have never been so impressed by a pub's ongoing push for quality rather than quantity. From the daily seafood catch, brined and smoked St. Louis style ribs, and the famous smoked wings, (sauce optional because they are so good on their own) to the Colossal Caesers with homemade beef jerky as just one of the seven garnishes, this is a cut way above the average pub.
I implore everyone to try this little Westboro Pub experience and encourage you to simply try it for yourself. If not, more bitchin wings for my friends and I.

Awesome!. I went to Churchills for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! I had never really heard of it but my friend had been and said we should go, so off we went! I liked the Pub look and atmosphere but what I liked even more is the amazing service and super yummmy food! We started off with their home made Jalapeno poppers and the Chirozo, Goat cheese and roasted tomato filled won tons. Both apps were amazing and so flavourful. I HIGHLY recommend the Jalapeno Poppers, the smoked cheddar and the cilantro sour cream make this app is a must when at Churchills. For dinner I had the Ruben and my friend had the pulled pork sandwich. Both sandwiches were really good, home made beef brisket was tasty and really flavourful! My friend also really enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich. Both dishes were served with fries and salad. Fries were hot and crispy and the mayo was home made and probably the best mayo I ever had! All these yummy dishes aside, I think the hilight of the night was the Caesar! This Caesar is the mother of all Caesars! It comes with olive, pickle, spicy bean, celery and home made beef jerky! I am not jerky expert, but I have had enough home made beef jerky to know this beef jerky is simply amazing! So, if you are looking for a casual pub night with great food with an innovative menu, that seems to change regularly, I say you need to try this place!
Food at this place is some of the best in the city.. made from scratch, even the jalapeno poppers.. made by hand.. everything is fresh.. if you expect cappy pub food like the Oak.. go there.. food is actually good here.

A Cut Above the Average Pub. Love this place! Great spot for lunch or dinner. Newly renovated and a more contemporary chic take on your average pub decor and the service was so super friendly and helpful with advice on popular items. Great atmosphere!
I had the Stuffed Chicken which was really flavourful, generous portion and great colour and presentation. (Chicken stuffed with Monterey Cheddar Cheese, Bacon and Green Onions and topped with a Demi-Glace). On the menu it came with rice and veggies but being in a pub I was jonesing for spuds. The waitress was very accommodating and allowed me to sub for fries and caesar salad with no extra charge or hassle.
My friend ordered the Fish and Chips and she gave this pub classic a double thumbs up saying it was was deliciously flaky (perhaps a tad greasy) and I can vouch the portion of fish makes your jaw drop.
The menu features a lot of options you wouldn't normally find on Pub menu, like a Tandoori Chicken Sandwich my friend swears by to order next visit at lunch, as well as a Shrimp and Avocado Sandwich and Vegetarian Moussaka.
Westboro is lucky to have this gem :)
Went with my brother and friend. The staff were friendly and service was quick, we ordered the nachos with brisket and it was tasty. For the mains we ordered the fish and chips, the brazillian shrimp and the seafood pasta... all 3 were very tasty and cooked to perfection would definately go back
Place is nice and cozy. Servers are very friendly and food was delish.🤤 I had the fajita nachos. So yummy.😋 Apparently the steak was really delishious too (from a friend). Their pub fries...uff. Drinks are made well also.😉
If you're looking for something not too big and just in the nook of westboro I'd suggest going here. Especially if you're feeling that pub feel.💜💙
A nice little pub with a decent selection of local beers as well as a menu to suite anyone's palette. I particularly enjoyed their take on a Reuben sandwich. I will be back again!
We went for dinner and had fish & chips. The batter was so crispy. Food was incredible and staff was very welcoming!
Slightly upscale pub with a fantastic menu, awesome rooftop patio, and great atmosphere.
Food and cocktails are always perfect and the service is usually excellent. Really friendly staff.
Can get busy at dinner time or on a weekend so best to call for a reservation if possible.

Had a really nice dinner with great wine and beer, the appetizer was a shrimp starter on rice, and my mother's salmon was the catch of the day. She was very impressed.
I had the chicken tacos and while they were satisfying and good I went for the turkey meatloaf. I ordered the turkey meatloaf. But the bartender had to come back and inform me they were all out. Disappointed, but not a huge deal. Will be back and will call ahead to make sure this signature dish is on stock.
I love going to Churchill’s, it’s hands down one of the best places that Ottawa has to offer. Nothing but great service, love going for the atmosphere and the best drinks in town. One of the bartenders, Mike, always treats me well and is very attentive. Will always make sure to swing by when I’m in town, 5/5 recommend
