Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, reasonably priced, all organic..and best of all, everything is bursting with flavour! Arguably the best coffee shop in Ottawa!
Really, really loved this place. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops. The staff was super friendly and created such a positive atmosphere. The place itself is super cute with a few different areas all with a unique set up/feeling. The coffee, is some of the best I've had and I think their affogato is one of the best in Ottawa. Their prices are also pretty reasonable. Plus they have a gumball machine and what could be more fun than that?
I'm a huge fan of Equator Coffee. I have been previously been going to their location in Almonte where they roast their own coffee beans, but this was my first time at the location in Westboro which I like even better. The decor is modern with a cute marquee sign and was filled with trendy people working or taking a coffee break, and it had a very hip vibe. My flat white was delicious, and the late art was nicely done. I'll be returning without question!
Excellent coffee and great atmosphere. It's a nice location right off the main street and there's an outdoor patio area that's great for the summer!
Great espresso! I love the simple modern design of the space and the large amount of room for customers. Great for meeting up with a friend or getting some work done on your laptop.
I was happy to go to the source after having been a loyal equator coffee drinker at several fine restaurants across the region. Love the spacious, bright interior.
Equator Coffee, what a delight! It is located just after Lululemon on the slope of Churchill Avenue. I've been meaning to go to Equator for a while now, but never made the short trek out. I overheard someone at The Piggy Market talking about it and I further contemplated going. Since it was a beautiful day for biking and I had some errands to run, I thought, "Why the heck not?" Little did I know, I was on my way to drink one of the best decaf Americanos I have tasted so far on my food adventures.

Definitely one of Ottawa's better coffee houses. Nice airy interior, well-tuned hipster coffee beverages, and excellent barista skills. The Flat White is stronger than some -- very close to what is often called a Cortado. Highly recommended!
It was my first time here and I loved it! The space is really open with large windows, various seating places, and an awesome large centre table to sit around. Had a delicious chai tea and friend had a flat white she really enjoyed. Staff were super friendly and delivered our drinks to us so we didn't have to stand around waiting. Ended up doing some work here for a part of the afternoon. Great place to take a computer, book, whatever. Definitely a place to check out if in Westboro.
My favourite coffee shop I all of Ottawa. I'm a caffeine freak and I often visit the ministry of coffee but the taste of this coffee is something else . It as almost a nutty hint and its the reason I'm such a regular. There selection of pastries and other foods is lacking but other then that a gem of a place.
Beautiful Shop. I loved the feel of this place; large windows, interesting photos and most importantly delicious cafe mocha and flat white. Will be back!
Nice place to stop for a coffee. Atmosphere is light and friendly. Nice change from the predictable stuff you get elsewhere. Been a few times and did takeouts too and found the experience generally good. Would return. Love the staff honesty about ingredients used.
I would probably say that this coffee shop is a must for coffee lovers! The staff were super friendly, and the variety of coffee served in the ambiance was very satisfying. If you like your coffee shops, then this is a must-visit! I will be back again! Highly recommend.
Sweet staff, lots of space and patio seating. Accessible washrooms on site. Parking can be hard to find on the weekend.
Love this location (haven't been to any others) - spacious, patio seating, single tables, counters, good variety! The coffee is delicious, and we had the breakfast sandwiches which were excellent. Staff are friendly too.
I loved the coffee here... The quality was good... this place also serves some breakfast like wraps and sandwiches.. the place is also modelled as a work place, so a lot of people come and work from here. The staffs were very friendly and nice.

I absolutely love equator. The space, lighting, and overall ambience makes this a great place to catch up with friends or start your morning at the office away from home (such is my case). The staff are friendly, approachable, and down to earth. Their coffee and bar drinks are amazing. I particularly love their lattes and cappuccinos which are miles above the competition. They're smooth, silky, tasty and perfect. The breakfast sammies are delicious as well. Not to mention Chris (gm) is a pretty awesome guy. Good vibes all around.
