Wow wow wow is all I can say. Walking in to this place feels like stepping into a "quaint" (not that there's anything small about it) gelato shop in Italy. Beautiful decor aside the gelato served is the star of the show. Flavored are decadent, fresh and feels as though color has been brought to the normal bland and white gelato I've tasted previously. I'm absolutely impressed and happy that this business is bring gelato to the next level in Ottawa!
Had a vegan hazelnut and tiramisú gelato which was a nearly spiritual work of art and a coffee strong and nuanced enough to rival some good whiskeys. Lovely staff, a dining room opened to the summer breeze, and genderless bathrooms to top it off. Stands out even among the sheer magic of ByWard market.
Been here a couple of times, usually for their Gelato. They’ve got so many different options for gelat; sugar free, vegan, fat free and their flavours change and vary depending on the season. Everything’s made from Italy. Their lavender gelato is one of my favourites. Their Italian desserts are also seasonal. I tried their pistachio chocolate mousse cake. It was delicious. Their tiramisu is apparently a popular dessert and is always available!
My favorite gelato place in the city, the flavors are so rich. The interior of the shop is stunning with white decor, it is the perfect spot to go for a gelato date. Also the coffee and pastries are equally wonderful.

Desserts, homemade gelato comparable to Stella Luna, I would say even better. Specialty coffees, teas. Atmosphere is a breath of fresh air for Ottawa, Italian background music, fireplace, bankets, it just feels so relaxed and so European. Definitely will go back.

Best tasting and best selection of gelato! It is a taste of Italy right in the Market. It's a chain restaurant from Italy and aside from London, UK, Ottawa is the only other location outside Italy! Have visited twice and was delighted each time by the food and the level of service. My favourite combo right now is Hazelnut and Capuccino. Will definitely need to try their tiramisu and drinks next time. It's also a great place for chatting and people watching.
A little slice of Europe in the Market. I enjoyed a great Americano. The desserts look decadent and we will try something next time. A wonderful place to meet up with an old friend and not feel like you are in Ottawa.
Just wow! This place is off the chain awesome. Some of the best gelato I've ever had anywhere. I will be going back repeatedly this summer to try all the flavours. My doctor will not be happy with me. The espresso is on point and the pastries are fantastic. This place is a winner.
Very interesting flavors and they were spot on!! We tried espresso, Pompeii (charcoal and raspeberry), pistachio, dark chocolate, and rose water. Serving portions are pretty decent too but it was very pricey. Lovely interior and tons of place to sit down and enjoy the icecream. Much recommend!
Best gelato in Ottawa.
Ordered the espresso and the chocolate-hazelnut. Espresso was delicious. Strong flavour with just enough sweetness. 10/10
Chocolate-hazelnut was too sweet so I would skip next time and get hazelnut instead.
Tried pistachio as well and it had a strong nutty flavour. 10/10.

Their ice-creams are pricey but well worth it. I tried their rosewater gelato mixed with pistachio and absolutely loved the combo. The rosewater could be a hit or miss depending on your taste, but its super light and a refreshing floral. My partner got hazelnut and coffee where hazelnut was the clear winner. The store is also super cute but small so get ready to eat your gelatos outside.
The best Gelato in Ottawa. The server were kind. The owner too. I got Pistachio, Cherry and their newest flavour, Pompeii. Must Try Pistachio Gelato. Instagrammable store. Hopefully they will open a store in Toronto soon. Wanna try another flavour.
Very expensive for such small portions, nevertheless it tasted excellent. The sitting room inside is large. A nice place to cozy up during hot summer days.
One of the best gelatos I had. (Tried Banana-chocolate pistachio and coconut, all 5 stars) Very friendly and kind staff. Positive atmosphere. They love what they do. And we loved what they did. I will always visit there, whenever I am in Ottawa. Thank you. 👍
