Best music in Ottawa, although no official dance floor. Cheap and tasty food, great drink specials, friendly and engaging staff. Best spot in the byward on any night of the week.
THE place to be in Ottawa. This place is out of the ordinary and who could resist the delicious "every plate is 5$". Must try the fish taco � or the chicken wings with pickles sauce.
Everything on the food menu is $5!!! And they have the most delicious drinks. It's loud but the waiters and waitresses are amazing, even when the place is super busy.
No idea why this place only has a 2.5 rating on here, but the food I do cheap and deliciously good. I got the union noodles and was full after eating and my taste buds were very satisfied. It is better to get a spot up front. Usually a queue to get in

Good place to go to at any time of the year. The restaurant has different seating areas, such as inside, outside (in front of the store) and even the roof. I came here with my friends during the fall, and everything went pretty well. Our server was friendly, and the food was good. I would recommend going here because the food is pretty cheap, and they give good servings.
I’ve come here on several occasions. The line up sometimes is ridiculously long on weekend evenings/night. But when I go it’s usually during the day and at quieter times. I wasn’t disappointed any of the times I came here. I’ve had some of there vegetarian/vegan things. I’ve had some of their burgers; and everything was delicious and very filling. And yes everything (minus the drinks) is at $5! It can get a little loud so if you’re not into that; it’s just something to keep in mind. But overall I would recommend! And they’re quick!!
Because all food is only $5, don't expect crazy portions. However, the quality of the food is amazing. You may have to wait a bit to get in depending on the time of day.
I think this is a great place. I go there all the time, usually in the summer for lunch on the patio. I recommend this place to everyone. Really! All dish at $4.95...can't go wrong! I do have one disappointment....i have organized a get together for tomorrow with work for minimum 15 people and was told that they don't take reservations. That is really too bad! I would be extremely disappointed if we can't all get in. I wish they would reconsider.
This place has been awesmoe everytime I visit. I don't know how it could have received so many poor reviews. The menu is under $5.00 and I honestly can't believe they manage to make such fantastic food at a price like that. The atmosphere is unlike any other place I've been in Ottawa. It felt like I was attending the best basement house party in history lol. It is worth a look trust me!
This place is golden and good vibes. It honestly gets people going because the price is so damm fair. 5 bucks for food. There obviously certain items that are better. I would suggest burger baja taco and wings. I felt the servers to treat you differently depending on who you are and who you are with. But for the price of food. Its alright.
