Three of us had breakfast this morning. Each of us had something different. All three of us agreed it was the best breakfast we have had in Ottawa. Not only excellent, fresh flavours but really good service.
Pretty busy on Sunday for brunch but well worth the wait. The hollandaises is one of the best I've ever had. The staff were friendly and the decor is reminiscent of grandmas house in the 70/80s or and old comfy cottage but think hipster. I'll definitely go back. Looks like one of those restaurants you would find in Brooklin NY (Williamsburg).

Brunch at Chesterfield's was great: service was friendly, ambience was nice although a bit cramped. The eggs benedict and blueberry pancakes were absolutely delicious and we found the price for the quality of the food to be a nice surprise! My only minor comment is that I left the restaurant with an overwhelming smell of kitchen grease in my hair, coat and clothes. Overall, great brunch experience!

Great service, good coffee and a wildly inventive menu with many eclectic side dishes to compliment traditional breakfast fare. Steak hash was very good with roasted seasonal veggies. Cheese steak excellent. Smoked salmon eggs Benny special very good. Young son was not partial to praline strawberry French toast. They brought him a Blueberry pancake to make amends. Much appreciated. Quick despite customizations. Small. Get here early.
Great food, interesting options and service. Air fired chicken so good, great sides (especially baked beans) and actually good coffee...new favorite brunch place!
Such a great breakfast place. First it's really cute inside which is great for brunch. Second the food is amazing and the menu offered so many unique options as well as the traditional brunch fare. I had the Israeli breakfast with shakshuka eggs, gouda, babaganouj, salad and olives and it was a happy introduction to some amazing new foods! Overall great experience at a really pretty new restaurant!
We went to Chesterfield's today with our friend who highly recommends it. We have the Chesterfield Club and Classic eggs Benny. The Benny isn't made with ham but your option of sausage, bacon or avocado. Their hollandaise is absolutely delicious. I just wish their gave more of it! My husband swears by the club and breakfast poutine.
Gluten free options galore! Lovely leek and potato soup, grilled cheese, and beets. Beets could have used more flavour but otherwise a nice meal. Wonderful service and comfortable atmosphere.
The food is great here, the service is really friendly. They got us coffee/water while we were waiting. It's a bit warm inside due to the fact it's small with an open kitchen. It's a busy spot but the food is worth the wait.
First I have to say that this AMAZING place only got one low review... Everyone else loves this place!!!
Now onto the review. The food is simply amazing. You have to try the every vegetable possible, especially the beets. The staff are helpful and friendly. They help in any way possible to make sure you feel at home and comfortable. The atmosphere is happy and fun. Don't get me started on the dishes lol! Everything is different and you won't see a single matching cup, plate, spoon or fork... Such a great idea :)
Overall this is now my #1 place to go. Selfishly I did not want to write this review since it might help bring awareness on how wonderful this place is making it more popular which in turn will make it hard for me to get a table but they deserve all the praise and 5/5 reviews as possible.
Off to the Chesterfield Dinner I go!
Worth the wait. We were trying to get to this place since last year. Invariably something came up or we got too late to reach there. Must say the food was amazing. We tried some mimosas, the Fun Melt Guy and Spice Girls brunch. Melt guy is a refreshing mushroom and cheese treat while the spice girls is a lively egg and cornbread combo. Highly recommend this place for memorable brunches.
This is one of the best brunch I have ever had. Everything was tasty, and cooked to perfection. The menu has a good variety for selection. And the service was incredible. The only small inconvenience is that the place is small so even if you go early most probably youâll have to wait, however it is worthy it. Me and bf went at 11, we were told the waiting time was like an hour and a half, however we decided to wait, and we got a place in less than an hour. We ordered the Israeli board, chicken and waffles, and a blubbery pancake and everything was delicious and the prices reasonable. I canât wait to go again. However, have in mind that if you want to go for mimosas those are a bit pricey. They should add a bottomless mimosas. But besides that do not hesitate to go.

Iâm among those who thing that serving food in small cast iron pans makes it 10% better. But this grub didnât need annnny help.

Chesterfields is a small but cool space. We went during the week and there was still a line at opening and a line through when we left. This place is extremely popular and we found out why. The food was extremely good, they give generous portions, their coffee was fantastic quality, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. Weâd absolutely come back.
Food and service was excellent! Space is super tight and wait times are insane due to its popularity and limited seating. Also, no parking - only street parking in busy Westboro đŹ We went for Sunday brunch and waited an hour for a table. We walked around Westboro to kill time. But, food was excellent and price was fair. Would go again!
Best brunch ever! Staffs were very friendly and welcoming. Fresh orange juice was awesome to start. and the classic brunch plate was literally perfect. Egg was perfect, bacon was perfect, grilled potato was perfect, hollandaise sauce was perfect. I was very happy with every bite of it!

We tried their mimosa. Though a simple drink to make, it was made to perfection!
The foghorn leghorn Benny was just perfect. The poached eggs were made to perfection. The air fried chicken was great and so was their corn bread and bacon.
The Brussel sprouts has just the right amount of garnish.
The apple cinnamon French toast rounded off the meal as a perfect desert!
I loved their bacon so much so that I asked for a serving of that with the apple cinnamon French toast.
Definitely recommend this place!!
Chesterfields is hands down the best breakfast place in Ottawa!! We're fairly new to the city and have been trying to find a new 'Saturday Brunch' spot and this is the place. The staff are lovely, the food was so so amazing and everything was super fresh! 10/10 would recommend going if you're looking for great food :)
