Sharing this review on behalf of guests I took to the restaurant who wanted to share their thoughts, but they are not on Facebook. "Our first impression was wonderful, as we were greeted warmly by the manager upon entering the inviting atmosphere. We took a peek upstairs before being seated on the main level at our reserved table. We loved how the heritage stone and wooden beams of the building were highlighted in the restaurant. I had a Caesar and it was very tasty. My husband was pleased to see that they have a non-alcoholic beer available, as he was driving us quite a distance home after dinner. Our server was attentive to our needs throughout and she was friendly and welcoming. We loved the cauliflower appetizer and very much enjoyed the cured trout. I had the cornish hen, and my husband had the pork rib chop -- we both enjoyed our entrees very much. Overall, everything was top-notch and it was a lovely experience. We are new to Oz Kafe and we were very happy with our first evening there."
The new Oz Kafe location takes everything that was great about the Elgin st location (atmosphere, amazing food, innovative drinks and impeccable next level service) and applies it to this much larger but still cozy new location. Beautiful warm wood beams, exposed rock walls are inviting and charming, and the good 'ol concrete bar makes it feel like home. Veg forward menu left this veg client beyond satisfied, and my dates insisted we wait for the late night menu- we did and were not disappointed. Congrats Oz, it was worth every second of waiting for this gorgeous new location and brand refresh. If you're reading this and haven't gone yet, GO! Much love, m.
Nice little late night cafe hidden away in an alley, very private and has a great atmosphere. They have the best bologna sandwiches I've ever had.
