This was a pleasant find. Very reasonably priced and the food was extremely good. The service is excellent. Great atmosphere and cool music. The duck confit was one of the best I’ve ever had. My wife loved the steak frites but it was a little underdone; next time she’ll order it medium instead of medium-rare. But my wife loved the deviled eggs.
This food was amazing! It came really fast too. I highly recommend it. We were very hungry after flying for a while. Good for after a flight.
One of the best places to eat at Rideau Centre!. Ottawa is one of the first cities where Nordstrom has launched in Canada. Ever since it opened, my hubby and I visited a number of times to see what they have and every time we’ve visited, we told ourselves that we would try Bazille since it had great reviews on Opentable. Last weekend, we finally made a lunch reservation and decided to see what the great reviews were all about.
Had lunch and I was impress. Excellent service and fast. The food was very tasty. The place is clean in a nice modern decor. Onion soup very good and club very tasty with the fries and the little very tasty mayonnaise . No comment on the wine selection didn't have any for lunch.
We love eating in Nordstrom's, the food is always good and this was no exception. Thankfully we had reservations at noon on a Friday because it was very busy. We both ordered salads off the menu and they came quickly. I had the pear with blue cheese. I forgot to ask for the dressing on the side, surprisingly it was nice and light. There was a bit too much cheese for my liking but otherwise it was very good.

Very Impressed. When my salesperson overheard we were looking for somewhere to eat, she reccommended the in house restaurant - and I am so glad we listened to her advice. Everyone at my table enjoyed their drinks, food, and service, no complaints all around. Absolutely delicious, prices that make sense, and plates that actually fill you, instead of this whole small plates phenomenon. Will definitely be back. Waiter was also very helpful with suggestions for dietary restrictions, if you need that sort of thing.
Best way to end a fun night of shopping.
Excellent. The food was fantastic. I dont have a single complaint about the food. Everthing was absolutely perfect. The ahi tuna was fresh and the presentation was beautiful. Nice business casual environment. Staff was super friendly and had great service. The only problem was forgetting my reservation (another customer said they forgot her reservation as well while waiting). But the staff apologised and gave us a table right away. The food was so good I wasn't even mad.

Tucked inside the Rideau Centre Nordstrom found Bazille, a restaurant in which the menu is centered around bistro food. Their two-page offers a wide range of food options suitable for all diners - soups, salads, thin crust pizzas, sandwiches, sides and house specialties. Bazille specialties include risotto, steak frites, crab mac & cheese, roasted chicken, etc... Each item is identified with the amount of calories. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are available. There is even a separate menu dedicated for kids. This restaurant is licensed to serve alcoholic drinks. Non-alcoholic drinks are also offered such as house made lemonade perfect for the summer or after a long day of shopping. Who would expect delicious food in a restaurant located inside a clothing store? I can tell you the food is simply amazing and the execution is flawless. I had the crab bisque which is basically a seafood stock made out of shellfish. It was rich and delicious with bountiful of crab flavours and a garlicky toasted baguette that contrasts well with the bisque. The caesar salad has a nice balance of dressing to
Generally, I'd say the food is great. Went for a few days over a short period of time. Some days were better than others, but still good.

This is a great place for Lunch/Dinner and drinks in Rideau Centre. The environment is warm and welcoming and the service is exceptional. Sam and his team always make our visit memorable. I recommend trying the warm asian glazed chicken it’s one of our favourites.We also enjoyed the Drag Show held in October.Hoping they will bring the chocolate cake back on there menu
The food is amazing! We ordered shrimp pasta, crispy chicken sandwich and pizza, allllll amazingly delicious! Even salad tastes like Heaven!!!

Quality food made with tender loving care, ever since Nordstrom opened years ago. The menu is small, but yet simple, with interesting dishes.

Jess made our experience the best. I have been to Bazille several times and the food is amazing, but what stood out this last time was the amount of attention and friendliness we received from Jess. She suggested amazing drink recommendations based on our preferences and customized delicious cocktails to pair with a customized pizza order. 10/10

The service is always fun and friendly! They really take care of you when you’re here. The menu changes seasonally while having some staple dishes always there. It’s always fun to try new cocktails here. The calamari is so good with this signature sauce they have that’s purple, I’m not entirely sure what it is but it’s soooo good! The soup is always so good, one of the best lobster bisque! The food is always cooked just right! Bravos chef :)
We had a delicious lunch served by a most professional waiter, Brian. When the time came to settle our bill, I mistakenly gave him a mere 10% tip. I apologized afterwards and had no cash to make up the difference. Brian was most gracious about it. We will be back and I will make it up to you Brian, thank you!
