I really liked the crispy honey chicken being served here. The chef here deserves a special note of thanks. Excellent food. Value for money and the owners are very friendly. Highly recommended to try it. Green beans are a must and Tofu with black bean sauce is just yummy.
I have tried other places in Oakville and Dragon House is the best by far. The prices are good and Michael is really really nice. Next time to want Chinese Food make sure you call Dragon House.
If you are really in need of tasty Chinese cuisine for your taste buds, then you need to be here. I have been a regular customer here over the years. I am quite pleased with the foods and the aromatic herbs and spices that are being used. I have tasted quite a few dishes like chilly chicken along with Noodles and rice. Frankly speaking I was taken by surprise to have tasted such inspiring culinary in this part of the world. I thought of meeting the chefs and the owner to thank them. It was really a pleasure for me to extend my gratitude and good wishes. According to them, customer satisfaction is their primary objective and what I will say is, they are more than successful in accomplishing their goals.
I am someone who is very much passionate about Chinese cuisine. The opulent aromas that I found in these culinary are unparallel to any. After shifting to this part of the world, I was always in need of a good Chinese restaurant. After searching a lot I found across this restaurant. Frankly speaking the cuisines really allowed grabbing an authentic taste. The herbs and spices being used really made the dish awe-inspiring. Thank you so much for the dishes. Tasty food. I have ate from the Dragon house many times. I have never had a bad meal from this restaurant. I like to recommend others for a weekend lunch or dinner.
The ambience here is just fantastic! You need to come here to believe it. I also loved the service from the restaurant’s staff. They welcomed us graciously, so much so that we felt like Chinese royalty! As for the food here, the quality and the portions offered are just awe-inspiring.
First time trying out this restaurant. I had ordered ahead and food was ready when I arrived. It tasted great, was very good sized portions and was fresh. Great value and service - thank you! We ordered the lemon chicken, S&S chicken balls, garlic broccoli, veg chow mein and chicken fried rice.
We’re a family of new immigrants who are homesick, missing Chinese cuisine back from Hong Kong, and Dragon House always amuses us with their authentic Chinese fried noodles and deep fried chickens wings! We’re indeed thankful for their existence and wish them success in their business!
I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant. I’ve only ordered through Uber Eats but our food arrives hot, packaged carefully. The variety is wonderful and the food is amazingly fresh and so tasty!!! Everything we’ve ever ordered has served us above and beyond in freshness and flavor! And the dish sizes are generous. It’s definitely our go-to for family nights in.

Been a regular here since we moved to the neighbourhood about 8 years ago. We order anywhere from 1-3 times a month. Love the extensive menu and the food always hits the spot when your craving Chinese. Is it the best? No its not a 5 star restaurant, its a family business- but its comfort food and its delicious. Prices are in line with other Chinese restaurants. Will definitely be continuing as a regular.
I have been eating here for 2 decades as well. The negative reviews posted here are frankly an embarrassment to humanity. When looking for some easy comfort food - this place never disappoints. I should know.. its been 20+ years of patronage. They offer a ridiculously large menu from a small family business. Is it the best Chinese food I have ever had? No. Thats not the point of it. It says “humble take out” in the description people..
Is it going to be amazing delivery? No. Its a small family business - go pick it up yourself like we always have.
Does it fill a gluttonous urge to devour some tasty chinese? 100% and I’ll continue to enjoy it as long as they continue to serve our community.
I worked here 20 years ago as front desk help and whenever I order from anywhere else I am always disappointed (I wasn't living in Oakville for awhile is why I ordered from other places). I ordered delivery this evening with a girlfriend and we were soooo pleased1 They have expanded their menu since I last ordered. I ordered some of my old favorites and tried the steamed pork dumplings for the first time. So delicious. Happy I can support this wonderful family business again and enjoy amazing food
Since moving to the area 5 years ago, this is the ONLY Chinese takeout that I frequent. The food is excellent, everyone there is friendly, prices are great, wait times are as expected or better. Every single time I've ordered, I've been happy! I used to try other places but quickly realized that Dragon House is the only consistently flavorful and reliable Chinese takeout for us.
The food is very fresh; ingredients are simple and not overwhelmingly sauced. The garlic broccoli and Mongolian chicken were both really good; so was lo mein. The to-go packaging was prepared perfectly and the food was still hot when I arrived home. I think I might have found a new neighborhood gem!
Very tasty steamed buns and sweet corn soup. Quantity is reasonable too. Hot and Sour was bit sour perhaps had bit more vinegar in it.
