I haven't been to too many Mexican places, but this was a very good experience. I like the fact that I didn't have to go through an assembly line to get my food. The lady just asked me, size, meat, bean or no beans, rice, degree of spiciness, took my money and I just sat a waited. Pretty nice. The price was quite reasonable, but service was pretty slow. I would definitely go back again, if I was not in a rush.
Good food. Went there last week for lunch with a friend and took my wife tonight. The owners are friendly and the food is really good! Don't pay attention to the negative reviews it's a great small informal place with good Mexican food.
The best Burrito Ever!. I am a regular at Cinco De Mayo because of their quality. I love their Macho Burrito!
This place kicks Chipotle or red Burrito to the curb!
This is CANADA!!!. My friends, family and I have been going to Cinco de Mayo for over a year and have never had issues with the service or food. It has always been a satisfying experience. The atmosphere there is cozy and service has always been friendly. We have had to wait a while for our food at times, but it`s always worth it. The food is always bursting with flavor and freshness...any way you like it, spicy or mild.
To the owners, please don`t let a few bad reviews get you down. Most people understand that starting and running a business is very difficult and challenging. You`re doing a wonderful job bringing a bit of Mexico to all of us who appreciate and love your food, and we know that you`re always working on being more efficient, so keep it up! North Vancouver loves you!! :-))
Really friendly staff, amazing food. Try the platter, it was more than enough to fill up 2 hungry people. Everything is from scratch and it shows. Highly recommend. We will definitely make the drive out from Coquitlam again!
Great food. Such good food! I highly recommend this place to anyone in North Vancouver who wants some amazing Mexican food. Everything I've had off the menu has been perfect, and I can especially recommend the quesadilla
Love Cinco De Mayo. Going to Cinco De Mayo has become a weekly ritual for me and I haven't been disappointed. Most often order the tacos and/or a quesadilla and really enjoy them. Andy appreciate the friendliness of the owners! Great spot!
Excellent food and great service. We went there for lunch today and had an amazing all vegetarian meal. We particularly enjoyed the fresh ingredients, tasty quesadilla and fair prices.
The service was very friendly, helpful and fast. The owners introduced themselves and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We don't get to North Vancouver much but when we do we'll definitely return to this little gem.
Good Food & Friendly Staff. I went here with a couple of friends. It was pretty awesome. I had the chicken burrito because that's what everyone raved about when I read the reviews. I was not disappointed. I will definitely be back. Good food at a good price. It was a bonus they were playing Selena live concert on the TV's.
Really liked it. Was in Vancouver recently visiting friends and stopped in at Cinco de Mayo for lunch. Cute little place with a warm decor, reminiscent of a cafe I enjoyed in a town I visited while in Mexico. The food was excellent and the owners were very friendly. Will definately go back next time I'm in Van.
