This place is tucked away in the Lynn Valley Village behind the library. Such a treasure! Staff are courteous and friendly, atmosphere is casual, reasonably priced. My daughter won't eat sushi anywhere else! She is so spoiled to good sushi at a good price. Take the effort to find this place, it is worth it!
Valley Sushi is a medium-sized restaurant located in Lynn Valley Village. Finding ourselves hungry in the area, we decided to stop by and grab some eats. It’s rather unassuming from the outside but the interior seemed clean and inviting. Next up was the Spicy Agedashi Tofu ($5), again, quite well prepared with a pleasant presentation.
I came here with a friend because we wanted to stop at Browns but the wait was too long so we ended up at Valley Sushi. I'm glad we did because it was a great meal. We were greeted right away, all the employees there were friendly. As we sat there the restaurant continued to fill up but service still stayed on point. We ordered the Pork Katsu Don, California Rolls, Princess Roll, and Tempura Spicy Tuna Rolls. The Pork Katsu Don comes with miso soup, and it was nice and hot, my favorite. All of the rolls were made nicely, filling to rice ratio was spot on, and nothing was falling apart. Presentation of the rolls were appealing too, not too much sauce, just enough. All in all I would definitely come back here and would definitely recommend anyone to come try this place out.
Best sushi in Lynn Valley. After trying all the sushi places listed on Urbanspoon for Lynn Valley, this is without a doubt the best one! Great service, amazing food, and lovely presentation as an added bonus! Really delicious food, especially their special rolls, yummmmmmy!
Under new management and they did a great job of renovating the restaurant. They offer a lot of unique special rolls and their sashimi is really fresh. Service is great and it's definitely my favourite place to go for sushi in North Van!

The Seared Toro Nigiri came with loose sushi rice that held together well. It had a light, barbequed flavour and was very lightly dressed. I wished they used a little more seasoning, but with the light seasoning, you can taste the unmodified flavour of toro sashimi.
