This is the best breakfast place I have ever eaten at, hands down. Locally-sourced (eg. Two Rivers meat) comfort food at its best. The menu features diverse and imaginative ingredients that one could never replicate at home - and that one can not find anywhere else. This is a place filled with integrity - in the food, the knowledgable staff and the owner, who cares deeply about his customers and the community. Well worth any wait time.
BLVD has the best brunch in the north shore and one of the best flavors in the province, their dedicated staff delivers a world class service with unsurpassed quality in the food.
They have a very ambitious menu not expected to be found on a hidden gem as this, the quality resulting from the work of their kitchen is second to none.
Blackstone Benedict @blvdbistronv { 💸$15 }/ Honestly, one of the best eggs benny that I’ve had 🍳… suck it Yolks! I had trouble deciding which one to get, but ultimately trusted my gut with the maple brown sugar cured bacon and roasted oven tomato 🍅. Sweet, salty, crunchy, oozy – Blackstone had everything right in the world. * Rating: 5/5 *
It's always busy at BLVD Bistro, so you know it's good. Service was good and it's linked with S'wich cafe 2 doors up, so you can go grab a coffee and sit in their while you wait for a table. I heard amazing things about their Bene's. I'm not gonna lie, they are quite tasty. Instead of an english muffin, they use their housemade potato bread pudding. It tasted great for the first few bites but it's very rich and heavy. Personally, I had some troubles finishing it and was feeling a little sick because of how heavy it was. My mom, got their pancakes and I had a bite and they were quite tasty.
Delicious quality food! Very impressed. About $16 per dish but you get what you pay for: local organic fresh nourishing meal made with care and attention. Lots of vegetarian/vegan options. Buddhist bowl is soul satisfying. Pancakes fluffy and yummy. Eggs benny done perfectly. Can't go wrong with this place. Very very small so expect to wait for a table or call in advance and book a reservation (max party of 6). Cafe next door owned by same people so grab a coffee and enjoy the backyard garden then take your cuppa with you when table ready.
Bon appetit!
From delicious food to lovely service this is a hidden secret of the Northshore. An amazing dinning destination. Chef Eric really puts a creative and tasty twist on his dishes...like the seriously yummy bennys and this sandwich he made once...I can't remember the name but holy moly...we had to order another.
Ate here for brunch on Oct 28. I had a vegan Buddha bowl.
Seriously......it was delicious. Was not expecting it to be that amazing. I can't express how good it was. Flavourful - lots of different great texture. I love that they gave me avocado instead of egg.
The decor is very cute too. Love the atmosphere and friendly service.
This place is packed with a lineup for a reason. I don't give out many 5 stars - but based on my food and visit on Oct 28...this place deserves a 5 star. Serious thumbs up
BLVD is one of my favorite breakfasts places in Metro Vancouver. Service and food is always amazing! There's never been a bad dish there. It's on our rotation of places to go!
Cute little restaurant in North Vancouver. We had two different Eggs Bennys, the Philly Cheese Steak Hash and the Paella. I thought everything was delicious except for the Paella. Wasn't a fan of the rice. Other than that, enjoyed the meal. I want to come back to try other items on the menu.
Best brunch in the lower mainland let alone North Van. The potato/bread base for the benny is to die for and the hollandaise is top notch. Highly recommend Blvd Bistro.
Such a lovely brunch spot, very North-West feel! Everyone’s so warm and friendly, coffee’s good, and the food always taste delicious. Food portions are just right too, we never leave too stuffed but always super satisfied. Today I tried the cinnamon toast crunch french toast for the first time—perfectly fried fluffy toast, topped with fresh strawberry slices, and the vanilla bean custard sauce was just next level! Definitely recommend brunching here if you’re ever out on the North shore, come here after a hike and you won’t be disappointed!
Cozy breakfast restaurant. Good for max 4 people morning chat. There’s a notice that they can’t accommodate more than 6 party which I totally understand. And only assign table when everyone arrived which i also think it’s fair for a small cafe. Good service and good food.
A great little Bistro in North Van. Our food came fast and was fantastic, and we felt that the prices were very fair too. The menu had a ton of good choices and had something for everyone. They had mimosa flights that looked interesting. The coffee was pretty good too!
One of my favourite breakfast spots in the city, a staple "goto restaurant" after a busy week or treat after a early bike or ski session. Seasons change, menus change but this place has always been peerless on the shore.
These guys know what they’re doing!
We went there for brunch today , the food was great , they were quick and friendly. I ordered steak and eggs ,My steak was exactly what I asked for. Had a great time there.
Great Brunch, lots of plant based options. Came in on a Friday and they sat us at the bar. Wanted a latte and Americano to go with our meal only to find out we had to get it from the coffee shop next door. Food was good.
