Very pleased - great food, excellent service. We had our first breakfast in Niagara Falls at IHOP - we paid 50$ for two mediocre dishes with sub-par service, and were pretty disappointed.
The next day we went to the Golden Griddle and were served by two absolutely lovely ladies (I didn't get their names, but they seemed to own the place). The service was pleasant and quick, and the food was great (didn't touch the buffet, but ordered right off the menu). We paid under 25$ for BOTH meals.
We returned the next day with a group of 8, and had the exact same great service and food. I highly recommend this place for a nice family feel to it.
Griddle. ... I can start off with my first impression... "this is going to suck."
I'll admit I was nervous because of the old sticky feeling of the atmosphere... generally appearing unkempt and unattended upon arrival; had we not walked through we would have never known it was open for business.
All this being said the over easy eggs and buttermilk pancakes were cooked to perfection and it was a generally good breakfast with a friendly staff.
