My husband and I can count on our hands how many times we have been to a restaurant where we had impeccable service, and food. The owner sat us and was very personable. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. The way they do the price fix menu is fantastic. I have never seen it done that way before. I got the 5 course meal where I got a glass of wine, a caeser salad, an appetizer (the fried goat cheese was to die for), the steak which I received a fantastic starch and side vegetable, and lastly the seasonal dessert. We received all of that for a fixed price that was incredibly reasonable. The co workers all seem genuinely happy to be there, the owner was there the whole time hosting tables and running food to help out his employees. It was a well oiled machine of fantastic teamwork. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. Everything was absolutely fantastic to the point where my husband got up from the table to inform the owner how much we enjoyed the meal and the service. I cannot wait to come back to Canada and return.

The dinner was truly spectacular. I started with a salmon bisque, my husband had a mushroom soup that was featured. The bisque was tasty, unique with the fried capers and Smokey flavor of the salmon. We both also had the mussels... they were so delicious. I wanted bread to sop up that amazing garlicky sauce. For our entrees, I had one of the largest pork chops I’ve ever seen outside of Iowa pork country. I had it blackened with an apple cider reduction. A really rich, but not overwhelming flavor. My husband had chicken with a mushroom vermouth sauce that was really incredible. Again, I just wanted to drink all of the sauces! Our server (Regina, I think) was lovely and attentive. We were seated out on the patio for a perfect sunset dinner. This place is worth it!!!!
The concept is different, in that you essentially choose three or five items from the menu (no two entrees, but you can do two appetizers or desserts). Many of the items have additional upcharges, but it is a take on a prix fixe menu that I've not seen before. Three choices for $60 was a little easier for me to stomach than going up to $70. And, I wanted to stick with the ones that would add an upcharge on top of it.So, I started with Fried Goats Cheese, which had roasted garlic cloves, oven dried cherry tomatoes and rosemary truffle honey.Oh my god, this is one of my new, all-time-favorite appetizers. Hand-carved New York steak - 8 oz. certified angus beef - grilled with bernaise sauce. Plus french fries. Not bad.Dessert was a cheesecake with a fruit spread that was tasty!
Great spot. Wouldn't know it from outside but step in and experience great service and outstanding dinner. Camilla and the rest of the crew did a great job.

Had dinner at Weinkeller while staying in Niagara Falls for a mini getaway, last night. We made reservations and lucky we did as there were only a couple of tables available when we arrived for dinner at 8pm. We were seated immediately but following that we waited 15 minutes to be asked for our drink orders. The rest of the service was pretty consistent, and our server and chef did a great job at accommodating the allergies of my partner. We ordered the 5 course meal to treat our selves. Luckily our drinks could count as one of the courses because I couldn't even finish the other four courses. For my drink I had a glass of the in house made cab franc, ok but nothing to write home about. The food was great! I had the smoked salmon bisque, the goat cheese appetizer, the steak with béchamel sauce with wild mushrooms on the side and of course finishing off an already incredibly filling meal I had to have the creme brûlée. Absolutely no complaints about the food but I would likely stick with the three courses in the future. Definitely worth a stop!

Based on a recommendation from a friend, we decided to try Weinkeller on a Sunday evening in Dec 2015. We had an excellent dinner with great service and food.
The menu is complicated, and needs to be explained. Once explained, there is value in the 3 and 5 course fixed menu. But please ask questions and understand the menu. You can basically "mix and match" courses inclusive of wine, apps and mains. This is not overly apparent on the written menu.
The other unique part of Winekeller is the protein portion. You can pick you standard steak, fish, pork or chicken. But each protein comes with your choice of finishing. As an example you can have your pork chop cooked 3-4 different ways. We highly recommend the blackened pork chop. Also make sure to try the goat cheese appetizer. It was the highlight for our 12 year old "foodie".
The house produced (local grape) wine selection is good and fairly priced. They also have locally made beers on tap, and I had a chestnut beer tonight that was fantastic.
Overall the decor, service, value and food worked exceptionally well for our family. We will certainly return on our next trip to Niagara Falls.
Went for late dinner and drinks, and everything was wonderful. Atmosphere, music, service, food. The steak is a definite must-try, along with the fried goats cheese. The wine list is thorough and offers a variety of local wines, and that's on top of the house wines that are on tap. A great place for a date, or for catching up with friends.

What an incredible experience!!. I can't say enough great things about this place. If you are looking for somewhere for a fun night out with friends, a romantic date or a place to take your out of town guests in the Falls you must check out Weinkeller. We were greeted by the owner and he was lovely, explained the vision for the restaurant and the craft wine. Our server, Carlo...Marco...I'm sorry I can't remember but he was WONDERFUL!!! All 4 of us got the fixed price menu, choosing 5 items (one being a great glass of wine) for a great price. Everyone was SO happy with their food and the goat cheese app is UH-MAZING!! THANK YOU for everything you are doing, some of the best food and best customer service in the Falls.

I just HAD to leave a review. I went with my boyfriend and we knew that it was going to be expensive so we made sure to have a good mindset before eating so that we could enjoy the experience.
We had Connor as our server and we loved how he had set the tone by speaking to us so professionally, no judgement, and with lots of knowledge! We both love simple human decency and we appreciate that type of service.
The food was amazing… Pricey so be sure to save up because it’s so worth. I really have nothing else to say because you just have to experience it yourself to know. 11/10! Thank you for having us.
P.S. If you’re going on a date, ask them to turn your table sideways for you so that you can sit right next to your partner. It’s more intimate and fun to sit right next to them rather than across, in my preference. So don’t feel shy to ask!
The best restaurant by far in Niagara for couples and foodies. You get an amazing amount of food for the price and each and every option is top notch. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Ontario. Our server Conner was knowledgeable about the food, and he let us know what a great working environment it was. To me, that makes the difference. Treat your staff right and you'll treat your customers right. Kudos to Weinkeller. You have a life long customer! 👌
This place is amazing. You get so much food for the price and everything tasted fresh and delicious. The server was extremely friendly and helpful. Also like that you and your dining partner can pick different items unlike other tasting menus so you get to try and share so much more food.
Wow! Dinner at Weinkeller was the highlight of my night! Incredible food. So delicious. The striploin was cooked perfectly. Angela was an absolute gem. Every dish was so good. I really enjoyed the beef carpaccio. Nobody at the table had a complaint. Professional service and nice atmosphere. Definitely going onto my list of favourite restaurants.
Such a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere and delicious food! Our waitress was amazing (I wish I could remember her name). We were treated very well. Fair warning it is very expensive but worth it. It’s 5 courses (not optional). I would highly recommend the fried goat cheese, pork and ALL THE WINE ;)
Excellent time here! The goat cheese is a must have here hands down. We had a bit of a snafu with out steak but the staff took care of us and made sure we were happy. We will definitely be back again the next time we are in town. The service is second to none!
Wonderful service, Fabulous food. We didn't have time for the full experience, but what we did taste was absolutely perfect. Our short visit was a calm and heartwarming break. If I ever am in Niagara Falls again, this restaurant will be a MUST on my list. I HIGHLY recommend.
Fantastic experience at Weinkeller tonight. A real hidden gem (and I have lived in Niagara Falls for 6 years and this was my first time here). Every dish was really great (I forgot to get a picture of the entree…..). The front of house team were also exceptional. We will definitely be back.
