This is one of the best sushi places in New West. Their selection of sushi is great and on top of that, they have excellent Japanese dishes. I love their chicken knees, it's something you don't find in most sushi places and I really love it.
Their service is good, not great but not bad. Their food is not high-quality sushi by any means, but with so many sushi places in the area, I think this one stands out simply because of the side dishes.
After a nice relaxing walk along the Quay, we decided to grab some Japanese food at Ki Sushi which is right around the corner from New Westminister skytrain station. Grayson decided to get the chicken katsu don because that’s his go-to dish whenever he sees it on the menu. It’s just something he can’t seem to resist. Especially when it comes with a gooey egg on top!
One of my favorite go to places for Sushi! Great service, extremely kind and efficient staff, countless choices on the menu and delicious food.
Simple and Delicious!. Definitely a regular here, their lucky choice combo is a great deal during lunch (for $8.95 choose 3 items and get a miso soup). Their rolls are simple and classic, not over-riced or stuffed with extra crab meat like some places. The spicy oyster roll is a must try!

My favorite Sushi, simple and high quality. We've been coming to Ki for years now. I've tried many other places in the city, some cheaper, some pricier. Some bad some good. But Ki always impresses and I always know that I will get great quality seafood consistently here, at a mid price range. Their salmon is delicious (wild salmon of course) and each dish is always given the same time and care to presentation. Ki is my gold standard for good sushi, no crazy fluff, flavoured sauces, etc just awesome food every time. The staff are really great and as a plus delivery is available. If you go, try the Dancing Dynamite Roll!
*it's too bad there are reviews of bad service or discriminatory remarks. I have found their service to be amazing and with long term staff it's easy to see why people return to Ki time after time. As well, the Lucky Choice menu is quite cheap and that is why one reviewer stated the rolls were so small. It is a smaller size served in the lunch combo as reflected in the price. But what can you expect for $8? Still a good deal. Keep up the awesome work!

Great quality, value and service. While I've eaten in the restaurant only a handful of times, I've consistently ordered from Ki Sushi for nearly seven years. The sashimi is always fresh. The portion sizes are good. The rolls and nigiri are made well, without excess rice. The place is always busy but service is consistent. Deliveries arrive in a reasonable timeframe.
Ate here the other night. Sashimi has been consistently fresh and tasty. It's my favourite here coz its nice, cold, and melts in your mouth like butter.. Yum. I also like the ambience and free parking. Staff are always friendly to us (got a 2 year old son). Thumbs up.
Okay japanese food. Came here on a very busy Friday night. We ordered a variety of rolls including the house roll, spicy combo: spicy tuna roll, beef teriyaki roll and spicy salmon roll, deep fried spicy oyster roll and the clam spinach miso soup. The rolls were okay tasting and fresh, I felt at times quite bland without the dipping sauces.
Quite good. Went there for lunch with a few coworkers and it's quite a busy place which is a good sign for a sushi place. You can expect things to keep fresh at the rate things go. Had their lunch special box 3 with chicken karaage, sashimi. Also ordered a sushi platter. Good price for the value, service was good. Parking a bit lacking, but there's always the street side. I quite enjoyed the chicken karaage with good flavour and crispy. Will return to try other things on their menu.
Good Sushi, Good Service. This place is usually pretty busy, especially if you go during the lunchtimes. The reason being that their lunchtime special is a pretty good deal, but it's dine-in only.
The inside of the restaurant is nice, and the servers are pretty efficient. They're not overly friendly, but they get you what you want pretty quickly.
If you go, you'll have to try the dynamite and California roll, it's probably two of my favourite rolls from them. The fancy rolls are nice too, but there's something about the way that they do the California roll that almost melts in your mouth, and the dynamite roll is cut just the right size, not ridiculously large and falling apart like some places.

Didn't have to make a reservation on a weekend evening and got seated right away. The tables are not extremely close together so there is some comfort in having the extra room. Staff were patient in giving time to wait for the rest of our party and to order.
Food arrived within a reasonable time after ordering and was quite good. Rice was cooked well and food was hot. Wouldn't say that the food is exceptional, but is definitely fairly priced and of good quality.
Would recommend a visit if you're looking for some standard Japanese food.
Nice place with a very friendly staff. Food is good and well served. We ordered the 3 course meal/dinner for two + edamame and we ended up taking some home!!!! And we eat well.
Like you can tell that the sashimi is very fresh and good quality. It is good portion and quite decent price. However the sauce on it is terrible. It said spicy salmon sashimi but nothing spicy and tastes like sesame oil only. Had to wash off all the sauce to eat lol
Best sushi in New West! Great food, good service. Always add free extras for us when ordering for delivery. Negitoro roll & mango California roll are very good.
