One of my favourite places to get poke in Montreal! The decor and overall atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic, really conveys that laid-back surfer vibe. The food is excellent, I've tried a couple of different things on the menu and enjoyed all of them. What pulls it all together is the wonderful staff. Everyone is super friendly, they welcome you like a friend and they're super accommodating if you want to mess around with the menu. Definitely recommend!

This restaurant is my favorite when I'm looking for poke I come here every week and it's always easier with the recommendation from the girl at the cash, just ask her and you will get the best dish! If you're outside reading this don't hesitate and get inside. The tonga tonga is the best one!

After eating authentic poke in hawaii & trying a few of these restaurants in Montreal, Koa Lua definitely has the best one in terms of flavour. The salmon california has become a weekly habit for me. The portions are good, and the place itself looks awesome, very well decorated! I keep bringing friends and they all love it.
