A local butcher shop that basically supplies the meat for next door restaurant, Lawrence, you can pick up the meat at the source. Awesome collection of cured meats and cheeses. The sausages we got on our board were so tasty - nice lean meat with bits of fat for flavour and great seasonings to them. Ones with spice really had a kick.
The cheeses were just as good. A strong flavoured Comte and a full Prince Edward Island cheddar. Nice think cheese you really had to bite into, with a mild but sharp flavour.
A great way to end off the main meals of the Mile End Food Tour.
Oh Montreal, how we adore you and your versatility! Boucherie Lawrence is a butcher shop in the Plateau down the road from their restaurant of the same name, who has built quite the reputation for themselves. Earlier this year, we went to Lawrence restaurant for a very British dinner and we fell in love!
One place that we're in love with in Montréal is our neighbourhood butcher shop - Boucherie Lawrence. An extension of the Montréal restaurant institution Lawrence (i.e.: Restaurant Lawrence, The Sparrow, & the Cardinal Tea Room), Boucherie Lawrence is a gem in Montréal's crowded foodscape. We've been going there for a while now and, we have to say, there is really no equivalent that we've found so far in terms of the quality. We're super happy with their amazing products!
Good intention, not great result.. I've stopped by to get a sandiwch. Unfortunately no more ham sandwich, i had instead some sort of capicola that was waaay too greasy. This taken apart, the rest of the sandwich was greaté Good bred, good mayonnaise, AWESOME small pickles (cornichons comme on les aime), etc.

Boucherie Lawrence offers locally and respectfully raised meat, charcuterie and dairy from small independent producers It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Lawrence’s food! So, you can imagine how happy I was when I first heard they would open a butcher shop. My dream has come true. Now I can buy Lawrence’s delicious homemade bacon and use it in my recipes at home! Lawrence Boucherie, located just a few steps from Lawrence restaurant in the Mile End, opened its doors a couple of months ago to offer locally and respectfully raised meat, charcuterie and sandwiches, as well as dairy, eggs and more from small independent producers. Boucherie Lawrence’s Butcher Shop The space looks way better than a regular butcher shop. It’s bright, airy and beautifully decorated. There is a bar counter with stools, so you can relax, have a sandwich and enjoy the ambience before buying your meat. Boucherie Lawrence: bright, airy and beautifully decorated I had the pleasure of enjoying Boucherie Lawrence’s
