This is located in a very convenient mall-style food court that is located in a high-rise building atop Berri-UQAM Metro station. I tried the hot dog and the poutine. I was surprised at how good both were considering the price. They were not amazing but a bit above average.
This area has a ton of tramps, and this place gave me refuge from one who was following me on the streets. As I ate, however, another tramp was traipsing through the food court, yelling and throwing things, frightening some of the paying customers. Security only half-heartedly pursued. An all-too-common sight.
I usually go there for the Poutine and it's actually the best place for it in the area, whereas other places either miss ingredients (IGA), lack variety (McDonald's) or don't taste good (Pizza Metro). The restaurant also serve hot dogs & hamburgers but are expensive. It's inside the Place Dupuis mall which isn't crowded and it's among the most open restaurant there.
More expensive but better tasting than LaFleur. 2.05$ for a delicious steamed hit dog.
