Tried to go GaNaDaRa on my last trip but they were closed for holidays (December 23 - January 2). There's no sign out front but look for the lineup that normally queues. Think Kazu but Korean style line.

I've shockingly never been even though I used to live sooooo close. Changed that and went with M on an early Monday for dinner. We over ordered but everything we had was fantastic!

- Banchan - they only give you one but it's legit. A mix of onion, carrot and kimchi with the best tasting sauce. The kimchi was less marinated, more raw which I loved. Perfect heat to it too.
- Milkis ($3.00) - reminded me of a hybrid between pop and a non-alcoholic version of a vodka soda. Different but good.
- Kimchi jjigae with pork belly ($11.00) - satisfying tofu pieces with deliciously marinated pork belly and vegetables. Soup was flavourful and spicy.
- Bulgogi raymun ($9.00) - simple but well executed and homey.
- Dak kimbap ($4.00) - you can tell their kimbap is freshly made. A small order (6 pieces) is the perfect amount.
- Seafood pajeon ($8.00) - looks different than your normal style pajeons. It was light, fluffy and packed with seafood.

Awesome spot! Happily would come back again.

Omg this place is amazing ! It has no sign so it’s hard to find. The quality of the food is great and the prices are very reasonable. I had the topokki supreme which comes with everything - almost like a sampler platter. The mussels are fresh and marinated to a tee, the chicken is succulent , the bulgogi is on point... and I had the kimchi jigae - they must make the kimchi in house or order it from a specialty service because it is very aromatic and much better than what you find in stores or what is normally served up with Pan Chan ... and the jigae broth was both subtle and intense at the same time with a great sour punch

Good korean food. The Supreme toboki poutine is serious there, fries, cheese, spicy noodles, rice cakes, grilled chicken, beef, calamari, shrimp and mussels. 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿. The only hick is the waiting line.. it opens at 5pm and I got there at 5h05 and waited for like 45min to get in 😑. But i definitely recommend and will go back for some more

I've tried Korean food before and so i wanted to give this place a try. I saw the reviews online and it looked like a promising place to visit! There was a wait time of 15-20 mins and it turned out that it was absolutely worth it to wait.

I got a portion of Korean fried chicken in their special Ganadara sauce. You can see sesame sprinkled over it. It was absolutely fresh and delicious. The chicken as so tender just the way it should be served! Very flavorful! 5/5

I also got their Grilled Chicken Ramen. It came with an egg in it. I really enjoyed the spicy flavor of the noodles and it was particularly comforting in this cold weather. If you are regular at Asian/Indian restaurants, you wouldn't find their Ramen too spicy!

The service was pretty good.

I'd go back to try new things from their menu!

My first time ever eating Korean food! I had a great experience at this restaurant, their service was great and the young ladies helping were super fun!

I tried the bibimbop which was yummy, the seafood tobiko which was good but too spicy for me.
They also make interesting sweet drinks that are non-alcoholic

very tasty!!!! amazing food, it was my first experience with korean food. my only suggestion is to expand it because it's getting so popular that their tiny area isn't fit anymore! would definitely go again

First time to Ganadara. Showed up at 5:20 on a Friday and had to wait outside for 30 min. Got a spicy pork belly dish (dupbap au jeyuk) and a bowl of deep friedchicken bites with a tangy red sauce (dak ball). The pork belly dish was awesome: very flavorful and smokey with notes of peat! The dak ball was perfectly fried and was surprisingly light. Would definitely order both dishes again without hesitation. Only criticism is that both dishes need some balance because the disappointing kim chi did not lighten them up.

Only other thing that needs to be optimized is service. For example, food didn't come out together and we had to wait 5 min for one party member to get their food.

Even though the restaurant is closed now but the love i have for them will never end. Hopefully they will reopen one day. The food is extremely good. Every single dishes are exceptional tasty and delicious. The waiting line can be about 30-45 minutes but it definitely worth the wait :)

My cousin recommended Ganadara so i could try their Korean version of ramen. It was 'ok' at best. But i did enjoy everything else. The menus dont have any pictures and the description of the dishes are vague and are basically just a list of ingredients. So what i did was showed the waitress photos from google reviews of what i liked to try. I was surprised how inexpensive it was to eat here, no wonder it's popular. And by popular i mean there's always a line to get in. We came in exactly at 11:30am when they opened and the place got packed instantly. The food is great, inexpensive, and very filling. But there's always and i mean ALWAYS a line up to get in.

The only downside of this is the long waiting line, especially if you're in groups (3 or more). Price is competitive, big portions, decent amount of meat and veggies. Service is fast even during rush hour. You can share it with friends to get to try more dishes. I came with 2 friends and we spend around $25 each, and we ordered food that's good enough for 4 people - but my friends are big eaters.... Be aware that the spicy food are pretty spicy!

The food is good and authentic Korean. It's affordable and well located. The place is tiny. So there's a line up if you arrive after noon. I got there at 11:30 today and there were only a few tables left and then by the time we left at least 20 people were lined up outside the door. The waiter was great though and accomidated a somewhat demanding friend with a smile. The service, food, and speed with which I was served was fantastic.

Honestly the first bite of the popcorn chicken had me wanting so much more. Every dish we ordered was so flavorful and if I wasn't so full by the end of it, I would have wanted more. I can understand why there's ALWAYS a line out the door. The restaurant itself is on the smaller side but that really doesn't stop anyone from eating here. Service is nice and efficient and food arrived in a timely manner. All dishes ordered below are as named: - Cheese chicken katsu (you can never go wrong with this combination of food - fried pork dumplings (super tasty and the sauces drizzled on top make it even better) - tobboki (I really enjoyed the veggies and the rice cakes, note it is spicy) - popcorn chicken (by far my favourite dish, I could eat the whole plate if I wasn't with friends! Haha, very light and crunchy) The lineup is definitely worth it!

We went pretty late (9:30) for dinner but there was still around 20ish minute line up. The restaurant is small so it can only accommodate so many people. The food was very tasteful and really good. The portions were great considering the price. Really good prices for everything. Food seemed like good quality. And was pretty spicy which was great for me. The fried chicken was very good as well. The service was pretty fast. Servers were very nice and helpful. And the rest of the staff was very friendly as well. Overall, highly recommend it and would return.

THE BEST KOREAN RESTAURANT IN TOWN !!! The wait can be very long before you get a seat, but it is totally worth it !! The food is tasty and authentic, the prices are good, and the menu has so many options now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Nice atmosphere and decent service. I ordered the bulgolgi bowl and it was pretty good, although it could have used a little more seasoning. I'm not sure if it would be worth waiting in line for, but I came in during lunchtime, so it wasn't too busy. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're craving good Korean food
