We stopped in for a coffee soon after checking into our hotel. It’s a charming, small and intimate spot, with wooden floors and vintage wooden tables and chairs. It has an intentional “worn-in and cozy” feeling.
We ordered a superb latte and cappuccino - the latte in particular was impressive as it can be a fail in many shops. Here it still manages to be rich and robust - reminded us of Europe. Croissants are fantastic! Buttery and crispy, with a light chewy Center. If you’re in the neighbourhood this is a great place to stop.
Discovered today the Cutest coffee shop in the plateau!
The decor and ambiance is charming!
Had a latte and a chocolatine, both were on point!
Omg!
tiny coffee shop on the outskirt of quartier des spectacles/place des arts that offers amongst other things, 49th parallel coffee. they do have 2 other roasters (phil & sebastian and i don't remember the other) on hand but i was served 49th. you can't mistake the taste of it. its simply great coffee.
as for the place itself, its tiny, feels very crammed. there's a 2nd floor with tables but other than that, its more for a quick coffee stop than a lounge around kind of coffee especially more true since the wifi has been cut (or is about to). good or bad? well, there's so many coffee shops in that stretch of park avenue that one does wonder if its the best of decision. at least, turnover rate is a lot higher, from the 20 minutes i was there.
anyway, if you're looking for great coffee in the QDS/PDA area, this is the place. if you're simply looking for great coffee around town, well, since they offer 49th parallel, i wouldn't go out of my way for it since Myriade offers it as well. and same thing about Moineau Masqué and Le Couteau. and i would never go out of my way for Phil & Sebastian but if in the area, yes, worth going.
One of the better coffee places in montreal
The pikolo latte is brewed nicely and the latte was pretty nice too. The design on the foam was very detailed and crisp too which makes for a nice photo :p
Great local coffee shop for espresso and baked goods. Love the seating area over looking the baristas! The staff have always been super kind, and go above and beyond to make sure the drinks are just to customers likings. There’s also a fabulous stationary store next door!
We came to Pikolo multiple times when staying downtown. The coffee was outstanding, as was the croissant we shared. The baristas were all very kind as well. We would definitely come back in the future!

Good spot. Had a kimchi cheese bake and London fog. Both were good. The location is right near my office. Hopefully will visit in the future.
A great place for coffee and baked items! But I don't think they offer WiFi. There is also seating in the balcony.
Went there plenty of times. The coffee was consistently great. Will forever remember it as the place where i had my last sip of coffee in Montreal. I highly recommend this place for coffee lovers. Oh yes and the pastries were great too!
