Ordered the hot and sour mussel soup (4 huge green lip mussels). Sweet, delicate , delicious.
One order of spring rolls with shrimps, lettuce and vemicelli.
Another winner with a sauce with incredible flavour and complexity.
One order of beef with vermicelli. Hot and spicy. Dish can satisfy 2 guests.
One order of curry goat with rice. Asked for mild but came fiery.
Goat was fatty and tough. Rice was bland and not hot.
The curry sauce ws tasty but soooo spicy hot. Could not finish dish as I run out of tears.
Second thermos of tea was offered. Nice touch.
First time and we will go back, as there is much more to try.
This is my go-to place when ever I crave for Vietnamese phó.
The portion is generous and the soup base is very flavorful. I've also tried their beef salad by mistake, but boy was it ever a great mistake!
I loved it and had no idea it would taste so good.
Service is so-so.... But I still come because the food is delicious.
Chinese style Vietnamese food!
GOOD: stir fry tofu w/veggies, bbq pork, hot & sour soup tasted great.
BAD: food tastes more Chinese than Vietnamese. Bbq chicken was average.
Also my mavourite PHO. VERY VERY VERY good pho!! It's almost impossible to get anything else as I cant resist the phontation! I did however try a few other dished and they did not disappoint as well.
My fav pho place!. This is one of my favourite places to have pho. I have tried the other pho places in the area but VIP has the best broth for the noodles. There is a good noodle to beef ratio and the food comes pretty fast. Not only do i enjoy their pho, I always order either the iced coffee or avocado shake. Their vermicelli dish with BBQ pork and spring rolls always fills me up. I recommend the curry crab if you're bring a crowd, its very delicious and the curry is a nice dip for the viet bread. I like the atmosphere here because the high ceiling and green walls make the restaurant very bright and open. It's a relaxing place to enjoy lunch or dinner with my friends.
Best Pho!. VIP has the best pho I've ever eaten. I am not that much of a pho connoisseur but I've tried it at about 10 different places. I have been to VIP at least 30 times over the past few years, if not more. VIP has the best base broth, flavourful and rich. I always order the G2 spicy. The spicy is really excellent and not that spicy, it's more flavour not straight hot like a lot of places that have "spicy" as an option. Well done beef isn't on the menu but you can ask for it if you prefer your meat cooked first.
The soft shell crab is good and I like the pancake in the appetizer section as well.
Overall, an excellent go to place to grab a cheap and fast bite to eat.
Spicy chicken is awesome. Good value. Love it!
The level of spice was actually perfect-tasting and left just the right amount of excitement in your mouth. However, I didn’t think that the lemongrass taste was there at all. It was also a little too saucy to carry the lemongrass flavour which is usually served dry.
