Kimchi House is a tiny Korean family restaurant. The food was good, service was alright. I liked the Korean pancakes. Worth a visit if you happens to be in London, Ontario.
I ordered my favourite bibimbap here and must say that it was the best bibimbap I've had in Canada thus far. Firstly, I'm a kicker for raw eggs in bibimbap, so that may have biased me in its favour. Moreover, the rice crisps left at the bottom of the sizzling stone bowl were irresistible and perfectly fine... there was so much and it was delectable!
My mom ordered her favourite kamjatang, while my sister got the jjangmyun. She found it pretty decent, and was satisfied, though interested by the various meat and veggie fillings in the black bean sauce. My cousin got the mandu soup and my dad, the kimchi soup (both not pictured).
Our favourite Korean restaurant in Toronto. Especially their appetizers and pork-bone soup. Their seafood pancake is also delicious. Busy but always can find a seat.
This is a place that draws Koreans so I figure it has some standing in the community. The food was authentic and hot with many unique items. Service is a bit slow if you aren't Korean as our server spent more time with her group and little time checking out needs. Despite the negative here it is worth the visit as meals were unique and reasonable
Authentic Korean food, good service, decent side dishes! Very rare for a place in London. They even have cold buck wheat noodles and very quality at that! Never had better in Toronto=) very satisfied and will come again.
Great experience. We went here for a late lunch. Food was great, service even better and they "gave" us corn to make corn tea at home.
Ups and Downs. Nice Restaurant, has its pros and cons obviously like all the others.
Pros: Food is delicious, decently priced, side dishes are amazing, and the restaurant itself has a cozy feeling.
Cons: Not the greatest parking space, small, the student waiters and waitresses need more training because they struggle with orders during the busy dinner hours, the cook often mixes the pork and other meats with tofu and vegtables on the same pan and pot, also make sure to double check your receipts the cashier usually overcharges on my end.
Other then that its good food with a dash of cons. Hope you all enjoy.
Mixed Feelings. Yes, mixed feelings about this place. Food is usually good. Service is usually horrid.

This is a small restaurant in a tight location right beside soprano's pizza. It is not fancy, or pampered for expensive tastes.
The food is so good (see my uploaded pictures) and the waitress is very nice. Kimchi House is very obviously family-run and I respect what they do there.
Whoever says the atmosphere here is poor clearly does not and will never understand the concept of this kind of restaurant. It's a small hole in the wall but was very enjoyable to my boyfriend and I! If you are not a restaurant snob (stick to franchises otherwise), definitely give this place a look! You won't be disappointed!
It's a definite date spot for visits by me in the future.
Came here based on my Korean friends review. It was much much much better than my previous experiences with other Korean places. It's so authentic! Everything was tasty even the gyoza which imo
Food was really good and I like how it’s a family that is running the restaurant. Makes it even more authentic and friendly. They were open on Christmas too so that was super good. Service is quite fast as well. Highly recommend!
This restaurant gives very good service, and its wide range of dishes will definitely help them know more about Korean food and food culture. However, parking could be quite difficult when visiting at a wrong time.

Not to be mistaken for the restaurant of a similar name found in Toronto, Kimchi House is an unassuming Korean restaurant found in an inconspicuous plaza in midtown London. Inside are tables reminiscent of fast food chains. But the food is far from being a quick meal. Hearty and delicious Korean cuisine awaits. The Gamjatang (Pork Bone Soup) is delectable. If you are tackling it solo, no need to get the larger size ($16.99). The regular size ($12.99) is more than enough. The Bibimbap is also quite filling ($10.99). Get that in the stone pot for an extra dollar for the crispy rice. Be sure to add extra gochujang sauce to spice things up! Attentive and quick service (our server was a whirlwind dashing back and forth between the kitchen and floor constantly!), as well as the yummy food, makes this hole-in-a-wall restaurant a great dine-in for anyone!
Good portion of food. Service was really great. Had to come back for one more time before heading back to Toronto. Thanks to the young guy server who was really attentive and courteous! He has shown an excellent customer service like above and beyond! Hope the owner gives recognition to this hardworking lad! Thank you and until we visit London! 💯❤️
I ordered Dolsot Bibimbap and Miso Soup which was great. Quantity was good with perfect authentic taste. There was a side of Banchan which was lovely to go with the bibimbap. There was no rush during lunch time. Overall a good experience.
Soup flavour was weak, not sure if it is supposed to be like that but it tasted like hot water. Side dishes aren't that great either. Place seems authentic though and the prices are reasonable
The food is undeniably delicious, and the family-operated atmosphere adds an extra layer of authenticity and warmth. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be definitely visiting again.
There's some great food at Kimchi House! I got a small Tteokbokee with cheese and noodles and it was delicious! It was spicy but manageable for me, but it might be more on the spicier side for others. Also got the seafood pancake and one piece is pretty big. The server was super polite and nice :) I'm not sure if it's due to COVID-19, but you get a discount if you were to pay with cash.
