Really good espresso, drinks can be a hit and miss. But their espresso and coffee is always a win. It's a really quaint atmosphere, sometimes it's too busy to get a table but the turnover is usually fairly quick
Finally a decent coffee shop in London, Ontario. Locomotive Espresso is a great addition to the Old North neighborhood. I love the coffee and the food, all locally prepared. Prices are not cheap but I am happy to support a local initiative!
Service was really slow today, and drinks were served to friends of staff first rather then in order sequence...wasn't impressed.
Great coffee, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. I only wish they had better sizing for the price! I ordered a Iced Matcha Latte this time and my drink was mostly ice, very little liquid. The iced dirty chai is a must though! You have to sit down here and get a slice of toast though, they have over 10 different spreads that you can choose from, one of them being pistachio butter! If that doesn't make this place awesome then you must be allergic to nuts (unfortunate, but I tried it for you so you can rest easy). If you're in the area I would definitely pick Locomotive over Starbucks any day!
Lovely atmosphere. Cute spot, excellent location. Lots of tables and chairs which makes it easy to grab a seat. I had an Americano and it was incredible. It was also only $2 which was great! Can't wait to come back and try some of their other drinks and maybe some snacks too.
Probably the best coffee in London honestly. It's a bit pricey for the small cup sizes, but the quality is well worth it for a special treat. Lots of nice rotating seasonal menu items, and the baked goods they have are generally quite delicious. Well worth a stop in if you're looking for a nicer treat.

Super cute café! Adorable themed inside, filled with hidden ducks and a great variety on the menu to select from. They have homemade baked goods available as well. I got a London fog, and my friend got a Matcha latte, and we both agreed that the teas could be brewed a little stronger. However, it was still delicious!
The staff are super friendly and add to the atmosphere, and there is plenty of seating and good lighting for airy vibes. If you’re lucky, you might get a little duck to take home!
Great local rustic cafe. Cozy and welcoming place. I got French toast latte , and it was really good. Basically it's good to go and grab coffee, some tables outside if you want to enjoy a sunny day. I have not tried their food yet, I will definitely go back.
Super cute cafe! The food is incredible (we got a brownie and a cinnamon sugar bun) and the tea is even better. They had a ton of coffee selections too that I want to go back and try. The atmosphere is really chill and we dined in to enjoy the vibe. The barristas were super friendly. Overall a great experience. It seems like a great study spot.
Very good place if you are a coffee connoisseur, if you like vegan donuts but only on Fridays, if you love hipster baristas and petting other patrons' dogs. Best old fashioned glazed in the city!!!!
One of the best coffee shops in town, in my opinion. Great bean selection for you to make at home as well as a great selection of drinks and foods to enjoy there or on the go. Friday is a tasty treat when they get in a selection of amazing doughnuts 🥰🥰
A lovely selection of coffee and snacks. Set beside a railroad, ergo Locomotive Express, and the decor of a train station. It even has a model railroad and cars perched high above the seating area that travels in circles around the room.
The ambience is lovely, and the staff are warm and friendly. I particularly enjoyed the chocolate biscotti and lemon raspberry loaf - they were absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with great treats
very very small location - we couldn’t find a seat and it was pretty busy and loud. however, it’s very cute inside :)
i got a honey latte and ordered it hot but they gave it to me iced, honestly i didn’t mind and drank it anyways. pretty good!
