We arrived for brunch and didn’t realize the need for a reservation. They were very accommodating and squeaked us in. The food was outstanding and nothing let us down. The wait staff was very attentive. Highly recommend but get a reservation to make sure you get the privilege of enjoying the brunch.

Brought my family here for brunch the day after my daughter was married. It was busy but we made a reservation for about 14 people 2 weeks ahead. Young and old, carnivores and vegetarians, we were able to find exactly what pleased each of us. All you can eat and self-serve. Delicious salads, mains (including freshly prepared fish), side dishes and great desserts! We were very well taken care of by the staff - we created a memorable family moment thanks to Vic's on Wellington!

I had supper this evening at Vic's on Wellington ... Vic's is currently being renovated so their meals are served in Bentley's Lounge.

I ordered the Smoke House burger (without onions or cheese), which Vanessa, my server said was her favourite. It was a delicious messy burger. The fries were good too but I only had a few because the burger was so substantial and filling.

Vanessa was friendly and took good care of me.

Visited Vic's on Wellington for dinner on our 24th wedding anniversary. Made reservations, and it was quite fortunate since there was an engagement party scheduled at the restaurant.

The ambience is quite good and the wait staff attentive, courteous and helpful. And now the food.

We ordered their Beef Eater Onion rings, Crab Dip, and Arancini as starters. The Onion rings came with guajillo mayo was unremarkable, and a few of them had not separated properly during the batter dip, and was uncooked. The Mayo dip actually tasted a bit... weird. The Arancini was not quite what I expected, not something I would order, ever. The crab Dip made up quite exquisitely for the two other disappointments. This is something I could shovel with a fork, all day long. Delicious!
For the entrées, we decided to go with braised lamb Shepherds pie, fish and chips, and lobster Mac and cheese. The braised lamb was quite good, but the problem was, the amount of gravy to food content ratio was waaaaay off, the lamb, vegetables and the mashed potatoes were simply swimming in the gravy. The fish and chips came with two fillets, some apple fennel slaw and tartar sauce. The fish was good, the fries (chips) quite horrible. I was actually contemplating what it would take to get some cheese curds, put it on the fries pour the excess gravy from the Shepherds pie to make a decent Poutine. But enough about my Poutine dreams. The dish of the evening was the Lobster Mac and Cheese. If there's one dish you have to order, look further no more. This is hands down the best. Succulent pieces of lobster tossed in with a creamy Mac and Cheese. Delicioso!
The meal was rounded off with Bailey's Cheese Cake. A tasty treat, great presentation, but nothing to go gaga over.

I will definitely visit this place again, only to have the Crab Dip starter and the lobster Mac and Cheese and maybe the cheesecake.

Sunday brunch
Sunday brunch starts at 11 am. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment. I am tempted to raise my rating of the restaurant by another half a point to 4, but decided to stick to the 3.5 rating. Read on.

All in all, plenty of variety for $22/adult. Everything from breakfast sausages, bacon, eggs, home fried potatoes etc., to the choice prime rib roast, roasted pork, chicken etc.
My favourite was the prime rib roast, well worth the price of the meal. Eggs benedict was quite good, but we had to ask for steak knives to cut into the English muffin. The silverware was not quite upto the task of cutting out morsels, so you either end up picking it up and eating the eggs benedict by hand, or risk displacing everything on the plate by trying to hack away at it. Returning back to the prime rib roast, it was buttery and and done medium rare. Delicious!
The dessert fare was a bit limited, but a selection of fruit and cheeses were also available. STAY AWAY FROM THE APPLE JUICE 😁😁 Its no better than colored water with a bit of apple essence. We were the first people for the brunch, so there's no reason why the juice had to taste like water. This was the biggest let down, since there was no other juices. When I brought this the issue to the attention of a server, she was kind enough to bring us 4 glasses of Apple juice that had 5.5% apple juice instead of the 0.5% apple juice 😂😁😂. Guys, it's not that hard to read the instructions on the can. Usually it's 3 parts water to 1 part frozen concentrate from Minute Maid, not 30 parts water to 1 part frozen concentrate.

Still, I would visit this Sunday brunch again for sure, just for the ambience and the prime rib. But I'm sneaking in my own cans of Orange and Apple juice. ☺

Edit : 25th December 2015
Made reservations about a month in advance for the Christmas Brunch (yet the reservation was... Misplaced.., luckily I record my phone conversations for occasions such as this, call me Mr Paranoid. What the heck are you supposed to do if your reservation falls through eat bread and butter for Christmas? 😀😁)
Anyhoo .. A marked difference, in fact, a totally unrecognisable change. Here was a fabulous and fantastic brunch. The meats were tender and succulent, the eggs benedict was delectable, and the desserts? Divine. A definite 4.5+ review just for the Christmas Brunch. Check out the pictures marked Christmas Brunch 2015.

I've had the breakfast and lunch buffet at Vic's and both were equally great. For breakfast you can get the usual stuff but they also have an omelette bar and you can order it, the way you want it. For the lunch buffet, they had both salmon and roast beef. Both were great.

This is the only restaurant we go while we are in the area, for many years, this place has never dispoints us, the quality and service is compareable to "fancy" restaurants, and reasonably priced. The venue it self, spaced out well and very clean. The staffs has always been amazing!!

Amazing service! The staff at the Vic's restaurant were super friendly, with a great attitude. I had the seafood pasta which was amazing, but a couple of my friends didn't enjoy their steak so much. Also the creme brulee was good, but my friend received one that tasted reallyy bitter, which we were able to send back and get a new one, but that one was also not so good. They told us they will just take it off the tab, and surprised us with a new dessert on the house, which was really kind of them. Would recommend this place, for birthday, get together, or any kind of meetings.

My parents took me there for breakfast on my birthday. The food is fresh and delicious and the staff is super friendly. We were impressed that the orange juice, coffee and tea was a limitless refill and was part of the buffet cost. I would definitely go back.

Food is always fresh and delicious. Lunch Buffet is a very good deal. Awesome staff and service. Teresa has been there forever and she still takes care of her customers with the same enthusiasm and dedication as when she first started.

A hidden gem, typically here for breakfast, but lunch and dinners are excellent as well. The staff really set things apart from other restaurants, friendly, knowledgable, and accommodating. Highly recommended
