Took my partner here for his birthday dinner. The staff were friendly and the food was presented nicely, but could’ve tasted better. The desert we got tasted amazing! The atmosphere was nice, although there was an odd smell.
Tanya was wonderful and so lovely. The food was great ( I would love to see more vegetarian/vegan options), presented well, and was delicious. Try the tiramisu for dessert, so good. We will be back!
Great service, good food but not astounding.
Delicatta squash and burrata is tasty but a little small. The meat (prosciutto, if I remember correctly) is great with it but actually would have been better if it was crumbled over the top for better distribution. Buratta is reasonably fresh tasting but could have used a bit of extra something - maybe honey or balsamic.
Gnocchi is great - soft and pillowy, deeply buttery, and the whipped ricotta helps cut through the heaviness of the dish. No major complaints with this dish.
Clam linguini was good, but the pasta itself was cooked a bit oddly. Felt like it was both cut thinner than usual and that the outside was overdone but the inside was undercooked - and not in the usual al dente way.
Torte was novel and rich, I really enjoyed the bit of espresso tasting powder on the marshmallow fluff and the bourbon gelato pairs nicely with it.
Abruzzi prides itself for being one of London’s finest Italian restaurants. They offer a wide range of elegant, tasty Italian cuisine, including pasta (and alternatives), risotto, pizza, steak, and more.
Today, I ordered a Londonlicious three course meal. Before my first course, I had their seasonal crostini that came toasted with Brie, sliced almonds, and fig jam. This was exceptional, bringing intense flavour with every mouthful.
Next, my first course was the Heritage Greens salad, which had whipped goat cheese, heirloom cherry tomatoes, pickled red onion, cucumber, and a red wine vinaigrette. This was good but would have been great with more goat cheese.
My second course was the Ricotta & Pecorino Ravioli. This looked elegant. All the ingredients worked well together, especially the ricotta and pasta giving a satisfying bite.
Finally, my dessert was the Cannoli with a blackberry sauce and blackberry filling. This wasn’t my favourite. The pastry was too hard and could have been easier to bite into. But I enjoyed it just the same.
Abruzzi deserves more praise than it gets. Their food is authentically Italian and is second to none. And Jenny couldn’t have been a better server!
So good!! We went here for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our waitress was lovely, everyone was very friendly! We would highly recommend going!
Rich, delicious and handmade pasta dishes are the star here. We went for lunch and both the service and value were impeccable. The desserts are also some of the prettiest and tastiest I’ve had in London.

Simply fabulous! Had a lovely celebration here with a party of 10, and we were blown away by the wonderful service, perfect food, and delicious wine selection.
From the pasta dishes to the salads to the duck, everyone raved about their food. The only thing I can think of that might be a negative is that the bathrooms are in the basement, so it would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues to access them.
Would visit again if I were in the area!
Early dinner - easy to book and find. Street parking available close by. Also covered parking across the street.
Easy seating - nice quiet corner available.
Food selection great - tastes great too. Duck breast really nice.
Have the tiramisu.....
Will repeat
I really enjoyed our dinner and wine. The hostess was full of good cheer even at the peak of the evening before a hockey game!
We found the noise level was a bit too high during the peak period, but quickly dissipated. Reservations are a good idea.
The ravioli with goat cheese and lamb in a tomato sauce with lots of basil and parmesan cheese was superb.
I made a reservation for 6pm its was busy but they were fast we were seated right away the waitress brought over some cold water and menus right away we got our drinks fast then ordered and even though they were really busy the food came really fast we had the ravioli decent portions and the taste was amazing.
Really fast service really nice waitress great atmosphere, i guess you could say it was a time bit cramed but nothing to complain about and decent pricing for a fancier restaurant. Overall 10/10 experience. One little downside is the bathrooms are down a set of stairs not a problem for me but for some it might be.
