Great spot for breakfast in London. We stopped in with a group of 16 and they were able to accommodate us with in minutes. The kitchen was quick with our groups order and our waitress was attentive. I ordered a coffee with baileys and we had a laugh when she checked her watch to make sure it was passed 11. I ordered the "Super Duper" which is a huge amount of food for $12. Great value.
This was a first visit. Expect the typical breakfast diner with "Greek Style" portions. Pleasant atmosphere, looked recently remodeled and the servers are friendly. I had an omelette and there are several other choices on the menu, though I did not see oatmeal, if that is your thing. Give it a try if you are in the area. 3.5 stars for food. 4 stars for service and value.
We walked over for dinner and couldn't have been happier with the recommendation. Southside Restaurant is very clean and it's a typical Greek diner with lots of selections on the menu. We started off with an appetizer of perogies which were delicious. If I had known how big the portions would have been with our main meal I would have passed on the appetizer.
No fuss, no muss breakfast place. Happy, efficient staff and decent food. Goth there early on a Sunday and watched the people stream in as we finished our meals. Glad we arrived when we did - all those locals can't be wrong.

A New Favourite. My fiancee and I visit Southside on a frequent basis have become big fans! What keeps bringing us back is the friendly staff, delicious homemade meals and extremely reasonable prices. We've never had a bad experience at Southside and always leave completely satisfied.
Food Recommendations: The Roast beef, daily soup specials, wraps, pasta and fresh cut fries.
This place has the best breakfast in town at the best prices. Better than Johnny's, Richies, Billy T's, Maxwell McCoy's, Angel's, Cora's etc.
Great breakfast!. Southside serves a great all-day breakfast with perfect eggs! Very friendly service too.
Good Value. I work at the same end of town that Southside is located - so I will go there for lunch. Most of the time I order their lunch special. It's only $6.50 - and you get Soup+Sandwich+Fries or Salad - you can't go wrong - they always have 2 or 3 sandwiches and soups to choose from. My food always comes out hot! I really have no complaints - and feel that you get more than enough to eat. Good value for my $ spent!
Stopped off here just by chance and really surprised. When you walk in it looks like a quaint little diner. Very different from all other food joints in the area. But wow. Absolutely fantastic food,with amazing portion sizes at really good prices. Plus the staff were all very courteous. Typically we found it on our last night in London, but as I am coming back in a few months, I know this is a place I will be revisiting..
I recently dined at this wonderful restaurant, and I must say, the service was great.
The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and service provided. It has free parking and also closer to highway 401 in case you are looking for a pit stop. We ordered the veggie omlette and Mediterranean skillet. Both were great. The French toast however wasn't upto the mark. I wouldn't order it again.
This restaurant is so good! The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. It's affordable for such great food. Highly recommend. One of favorite places to eat in London.
Place was packed but we were seated right away, Food was served with in 20 mins. Everything was great but one negative the vegetarian skillet I order was all hash brown with couple diced onions with eggs on it. There was hardly any other veggie in there. Hubby ordered veggie omelet he loved his food. Everything was good besides that.
Stayed over for the night in London and found this place the next morning. The prices are really decent and the food portions are great. Really good taste for the items we ordered and the service was great. Didn't have any issues. Would definitely come back here again.

We visit London frequently and happened to come upon this wonderful restaurant after my doctors appointment . The restaurant is clean, the food was amazing, very reasonably priced but the lady that would keep us coming back was our waitress Leslie. She was attentive, organized, thorough and absolutely wonderful.
I would definitely dine here again. My compliments not only to Leslie, but also to the chef.

The Southside Grill is a delightful eatery and family restaurant nestled in the back areas of White Oaks. The food is extremely delicious and very well made. Diner staples like the turkey club and Cobb salad are some of the best I've had in the city.
I saw that they had chicken and waffles on the menu for breakfast and had to try it, however I was told they were out of waffles and would be substituting french toast. So let me tell you how amazingly different and delicious such as treat was. The chicken was cooked to perfection! Although I don't like french toast too much, I found it to be very, very yummy . The addition of onion rings on top, sealed the deal. One of the best breakfast delights I've had in a very long time.
I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. ☺️
This restaurant is great for anytime of the day. The food was really good, the portions were large even for the kids meal. I loved the chicken, served with the best mashed potatoes and gravy, the omelette tasted good but needs a little more salt. My family and I will definitely come again.
We've eaten there twice in the last couple weeks and it's great. Food is reasonably price and very good, burger was a hand made paddy , frys are fresh cut and very good. Mom had liver and it was also very good.
Would recommend Southside to any one . If I had one complaint it's the Decor, needs a refresh.
