Stopped off here just by chance and really surprised. When you walk in it looks like a quaint little diner. Very different from all other food joints in the area. But wow. Absolutely fantastic food,with amazing portion sizes at really good prices. Plus the staff were all very courteous. Typically we found it on our last night in London, but as I am coming back in a few months, I know this is a place I will be revisiting..

I recently dined at this wonderful restaurant, and I must say, the service was great. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and service provided. It has free parking and also closer to highway 401 in case you are looking for a pit stop. We ordered the veggie omlette and Mediterranean skillet. Both were great. The French toast however wasn't upto the mark. I wouldn't order it again.

This restaurant is so good! The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. It's affordable for such great food. Highly recommend. One of favorite places to eat in London.

Place was packed but we were seated right away, Food was served with in 20 mins. Everything was great but one negative the vegetarian skillet I order was all hash brown with couple diced onions with eggs on it. There was hardly any other veggie in there. Hubby ordered veggie omelet he loved his food. Everything was good besides that.

Stayed over for the night in London and found this place the next morning. The prices are really decent and the food portions are great. Really good taste for the items we ordered and the service was great. Didn't have any issues. Would definitely come back here again.

Value for money with great atmosphere. Seating at tables or booth. We visit London frequently and happened to come upon this wonderful restaurant after my doctors appointment . The restaurant is clean, the food was amazing, very reasonably priced but the lady that would keep us coming back was our waitress Leslie. She was attentive, organized, thorough and absolutely wonderful. I would definitely dine here again. My compliments not only to Leslie, but also to the chef. Thank you Leslie, I hope you get recognized for your great service and giving us a fantastic, positive customer experience. Will definitely be stopping in again on our next visit! The Southside Grill is a delightful eatery and family restaurant nestled in the back areas of White Oaks. The food is extremely delicious and very well made. Diner staples like the turkey club and Cobb salad are some of the best I've had in the city. I saw that they had chicken and waffles on the menu for breakfast and had to try it, however I was told they were out of waffles and would be substituting french toast. So let me tell you how amazingly different and delicious such as treat was. The chicken was cooked to perfection! Although I don't like french toast too much, I found it to be very, very yummy . The addition of onion rings on top, sealed the deal. One of the best breakfast delights I've had in a very long time. I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. ☺️

This restaurant is great for anytime of the day. The food was really good, the portions were large even for the kids meal. I loved the chicken, served with the best mashed potatoes and gravy, the omelette tasted good but needs a little more salt. My family and I will definitely come again.

We've eaten there twice in the last couple weeks and it's great. Food is reasonably price and very good, burger was a hand made paddy , frys are fresh cut and very good. Mom had liver and it was also very good. Would recommend Southside to any one . If I had one complaint it's the Decor, needs a refresh.

Neat little restaurant right off the highway. The service here was fast and friendly, food was delicious. We got fish and chips and the buttermilk chicken - both were very large servings. Definitely make sure you're very hungry coming in! Restaurant was kept clean including bathrooms. Would definitely stop in again if in the area.

They serve food that is affordable ($10 lunch specials don't exist anywhere else these days!!), fast, and is DELICIOUS every time. Their staff are amazing and we love the servers there. Everything about this place provides a homey, comfortable vibe that feels like the past small town expectation of a restaurant... without it being dated in any way. They are our #1 choice always.

I can't say enough great things aboot Southside Grill. The food, service and atmosphere are amazing. The tables have small folded cards that say, 'sanitized'. Yes..that table is spotless. The clean establishment and great service are key. Our server, Leslie, is a very upbeat professional who knows people. Her sense of humor kept everyone laughing and her lighting speed service was refreshing. We even had three coaches from the Semi big leagues in T.O. having a victory breakfast right beside us..what gentlemen they were. Good on ya Men! The food was piping hot right from the oven. The steak was rare, juicy and melted in my mouth..KUDOS CHEF! The poached eggs were done to my perfection. They're served in a small saucer with delicious golden brown home fries all around. The toast was light rye with strawberry jam and real dairy butter. They have child seats and pick up reserved parking and they are differently abled friendly. Clean bathrooms is also what you'll find...very important. This had to be one of the finest eatery experience in awhile. Your whole family is their family. Luv Malcom💪😎💜Stay strong London.

I had a nice breakfast of Waffles and Bacon down here. I met with some people from work in the am hours on a week day and the restaurant was pretty quiet for the most part. Clean, cozy, attentive staff and good food. Above all, they have some pretty good prices! I took a look at the team of four’s breakfast bill and it was around $63 for us. Overall, I would recommend this spot. It’s also right next to the 401.

I ordered a coffee with baileys and we had a laugh when she checked her watch to make sure it was passed 11. I ordered the "Super Duper" which is a huge amount of food for $12. Great value. Revisited today (01/25/20) ordered the club house and eggs Benny. Both were good and service was great especially since the place was packed. Only downfall is they don't use real mayo 😢.

This was a first visit. Expect the typical breakfast diner with "Greek Style" portions. Pleasant atmosphere, looked recently remodeled and the servers are friendly. I had an omelette and there are several other choices on the menu, though I did not see oatmeal, if that is your thing. Give it a try if you are in the area. 3.5 stars for food. 4 stars for service and value.

We walked over for dinner and couldn't have been happier with the recommendation. Southside Restaurant is very clean and it's a typical Greek diner with lots of selections on the menu. We started off with an appetizer of perogies which were delicious. If I had known how big the portions would have been with our main meal I would have passed on the appetizer.

No fuss, no muss breakfast place. Happy, efficient staff and decent food. Goth there early on a Sunday and watched the people stream in as we finished our meals. Glad we arrived when we did - all those locals can't be wrong.

We had skillets lots of potatoes not much meat. An earwig came out of sugar bowl put us off the meal. Good quantity ok service the over easy egg was medium so didn’t get the yolk over the skillet. Good quantity, good coffee. Spacious, and clean looking other than the earwig in sugar bowl;)

A New Favourite. My fiancee and I visit Southside on a frequent basis have become big fans! What keeps bringing us back is the friendly staff, delicious homemade meals and extremely reasonable prices. We've never had a bad experience at Southside and always leave completely satisfied. Food Recommendations: The Roast beef, daily soup specials, wraps, pasta and fresh cut fries.

My family actually walked out of this place filthy my ice tea was like some kind of soup all kinds of thing floating around in it. That was the last straw the place was filthy.

Comfort food at a good value. I used to go to the Southside Resaurant regularly. Over time, we stopped going, for no particular reason. Recently, we had brunch at Denny's. I was less than impressed. I remembered how we used to enjoy the Southside and we started going back. The Breakfast menu was great and the lunch menu was simplified and updated. It wasn't anything fancy, but you can get homemade soup, a nice burger, a decent clubhouse or a plate of bacon & eggs, come away satisfied and not break the bank. Fresh cut fries are my weakness, and Southside makes 'em fresh.

Good Value. I work at the same end of town that Southside is located - so I will go there for lunch. Most of the time I order their lunch special. It's only $6.50 - and you get Soup+Sandwich+Fries or Salad - you can't go wrong - they always have 2 or 3 sandwiches and soups to choose from. My food always comes out hot! I really have no complaints - and feel that you get more than enough to eat. Good value for my $ spent!

Ewwwww. This was the worst meal i have ever had. our chicken was raw in the middle, and the plain iceburg salad i had that was drenched in dressing was a huge waste of money. that didnt stop them from charging us for it though, even after we complaiined and left hungry.... never going back
