Headed over here for dinner on the weekend. They have seating inside and a few tables outside. We decided to sit at the table outside, especially since we were in a nice area that wasn't too busy with traffic.
I ordered a chopped scallop roll, one piece of toro nigiri, and futomaki. The toro was just OK, but the rest of the rolls were good. My friend ordered the chicken karaage. There were two choices of either deep fried chicken wings or chicken leg nuggets. She chose the nuggets, however when it came, it wasn't what we were expecting at all. It looked like chicken nuggets that come frozen from a package and definitely not the karaage we had in mind of just boneless chicken. It came on a plate with dipping sauce and a salad. That was the only thing that was unexpected and a little disappointing. Everything else tasted fresh and yummy. The tempura came hot and crispy. Overall, the service was good especially since we sat outside and usually it is harder to flag down a server. The food for the prices was reasonable and I would definitely come back here for sushi if I'm in Kelowna.
UP - Staff are always friendly here and the sushi is decent.
DOWN - Not the largest menu but a good spread.
OUT - Nice neighbourhood sushi spot. Rolls aren't the largest, but they taste great.
Absolutely amazing. Reminds me of the first Japanese food I ever had, which was in Japan. The fish is unbelievably fresh and everything is reasonably priced, with perfect portioning. Best in Kelowna.
I live just down the road from this place and eat here all the time. Mizu is a down to earth no frills great place to get sushi. I'm sure there's probably better in Kelowna, but unless you're a sushi snob this place is the best in town. Good quality at a great price.
Best Sushi in Kelowna. Love this place, go as often as I can. Fast service, great prices, and awesome food every time I go. Been to alot of other sushi places in town before I discovered this place, and now this is the ONLY place I go to for sushi.
One of my "go to" places for take out sushi! Tempura box w chicken teriyaki is one of my favorites. You can't beat a fast, filling lunch for under $10!
Been going for years. Great food, great value. My only complaint is that they are closed on Mondays. Go for a bento box and a miso soup.
When visiting Kelowna I was looking for some good sushi on a Sunday. I was able to find this place a little off the beaten path. We ordered the 58 piece party platter and some shrimp tempura. It was all made fresh to order and I was in and out in 15 minutes with our takeout order. Fast and friendly and delicious. I would definitely eat here again.
Much more than just sushi! Noodles, tempura, teriyaki, etc. Good quality food at a good value. Worth a stop for a meal!
Great fast sushi. Good Japanese food, fresh ingredients. Always consistent, with quick and pleasant service. Ohitashi, salmon rolls, and bento boxes are my favourites.
Wow, the sushi here is absolutely delicious, incredibly tasty, and the portions are extremely generous. As someone who has a discerning palate for sushi, I couldn't be more pleased with the top-notch quality and flavors they offer.
First time here, the price is reasonable and the sushis are wonderful. I love the spicy mayo. Sushi box is a good and all the fishes are fresh. Excellent service and kind staffs. Totally recommend to come for sushi.

I’ve been a customer of mizu, for over 10 years, I used to live a few blocks away and would order weekly. They offer amazing sushi, excellent service, and very reasonable prices. Take out orders are always ready fast and prepared with accuracy. When dining in the staff are always friendly with exceptional service. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
My friend and I devoured our food. Freaking good. Squid Karage, rainbow roll, Bubba roll, spicy tuna deep fried roll. The staff are also VERY friendly. We chatted for awhile. We will definitely come again! Lol, here's a pic of our food and our empty plates!
My Family and I had dinner here tonight after years of not visiting (since we were little) and we were so happy we did. They had a wonderful selection to choose from (and very affordably priced) and we ordered all different veggie rolls, edamame, tempura, agedashi tofu, and stir fry veggie noodle dish. All were absolutely delicious along with the very fast service and friendliness, the food came fresh out of the kitchen and nice and hot! We all shared and were happy and very satisfied when we left. Lisa was very kind and overall it was a lovely lovely night out. Would definitely recommend!! :)
Great food, affordable prices, great atmosphere and service, Mizu is now my #1 sushi restaurant to go to.

My friend and I went to Mizu Japanese Restaurant for lunch. We wanted eat somewhere close. We ordered the Squid Karage, Rainbow Roll, Buba Roll, and Deep Fried Spicy Tuna Roll. Oh my gosh! It was soo good. The server was so nice and friendly. We will come back next time when we are in Kelowna. Plus easy parking. 😀
