Stepped into an incredibly nice and cozy Italian restaurant that did not disappoint. We got the spaghetti alla carbonara and lasagna rossa which were both absolutely on the spot. The pastas had the right texture, the sauces had the delicious goodness which really charged those taste buds. I'd day the prices felt more expensive than expected and perhaps the service could've been better. Overall though, we enjoyed out time here and would like to come back again.
This is a great place lovely interior great ambiance and honestly the BEST veal I've had in western Canada we had a party of five and had great service amazing meals everyone enjoyed it was our first time here but won't be our last!
Italian kelowna. The food is undeniably good. but however the decor could use a renovation...
Prices are fairly high... but thats italian.
For the ambience its not a great value..
The service is sub-par... however I think they are understaffed or overworked.
Benefit of the doubt- its worth it if you like high priced italian.

Great Italian Food. Visiting from Winnipeg, we wanted some good italian food and this place didn't disappoint. Fettuccine Alfredo w/chicken was fabulous. My wife had the cheese and spinach cannelloni which was good. Garlic toast was good and plentiful and the bruschetta was also pretty good. Kids had penne with meatballs and sauce that was good also. If we lived here this would be a staple.
Exceptional Food!. I visited this restaurant a few days ago, and ordered the Spinach & Ricotta Lasagna. This is the second time in the past 2 years that I've ordered this dish - the first time I tried it it was excellent and despite the numerous other enticing choices on the menu, I ordered it again, and wasn't disappointed....it was truly amazing the 2nd time around and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The meat sauce was incredible, and I couldn't stop eating!
The ambience and service were exceptional as well...and as a finale, I ordered the Tiramisu, which was a great end to the evening.
Thank you to the chefs and staff @ this wonderful restaurant for the phenomenal food.

Best Italian in the Valley. Mamma Rosa Restaurant is the only place I will go for Italian food. The portion sizes are very generous and are always delicious. I love the atmosphere of a small and local family run restaurant!
Mamma Rosa's has some of the best pizza I have ever had! And if your not in the mood for pizza I highly recommend the Sea Food Shells or the Handmade Lobster Cannelloni! And for all those gluten free lovers my friends tell me the gluten free cake is delicious!
Great Experience. Recently went to Mamma Rosa's and had a great experience. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was great. This place was great for a romantic dinner. I will definitely be back!
Great Italian ambience and food with big portions. I would however consider somewhere else if you are looking for a fine dining experience.
Very positive dining experience. Delicious Italian food in a traditional themed restaurant. The food was delicious and the portions are huge! Location is very busy but worth the wait. On our visit, the servers were a bit overrun. We will definitely come back as the food is excellent.
Went for the first time tonight and was impressed! Was craving real, filling Italian pasta and was not disappointed. All 3 of us were satisfied with our meals and the service was friendly and attentive. Portions are huge. You won’t leave hungry. Provided a birthday dessert for my birthday, and offered a great selection of homemade desserts. Will be going back!
It was tough getting in around dinner time on short notice because this restaurant is so popular... for good reasons. Definitely the best Italian food in the Okanagan! I recommend the delicious steam mussels. You can resist sopping up all the amazing broth with extra fresh bread.

Food is some of the best Italian, especially for the price.
Very good service, our glasses were never even close to being empty.
They also surprised us with a dessert in celebration of a birthday!

We were visiting Kelowna for the weekend and after a wonderful day at Myra Canyon Trail, we decided to visit downtown.
We were looking for a place to eat and after passing the regular suspects like OSF, BSH, CC, etc (guess the names), we passed alongside Mamma Rosa. We were not sure if that was the place but after driving around, we ended coming back and eating here.
No regrets! It was fantastic! Food is delicious. The atmosphere is very fitting and service was pretty good. It is a bit pricey but after actually eating, we unanimously agreed that it was worth it!
We ordered:
- Capresse Salad (D E L I C I O U S ! ! ! )
- Foccacia H (Amazing mix of flavours)
- Lobster Cannelloni (Fabulous!)
- Key lime pie and Tiramisu to share (To die for!)
Just one little flaw: Bill came with a 7.5% tax with no explanation or heads up. I do not like hidden charges and therefore, I adjusted the tip accordingly. Unfortunate because service was great.
All in all though, it was not enough to alter my review. I still highly recommend it. 🙂
Ate here twice during our visit in Kelowna. Home made pasta was great. We would have tried more dishes if we had more days to spend in the area.
Spaghetti pescatrice had lots of prawn shrimp and scallops but the sauce was too runny, would have been better if it was creamier.
Fettuccini al pesto is delicious.

I know when we go here that I will be happy with whatever I choose. There's a lot of decisions on the menu, so it is a hard choice! Service is always good. High quality food!

Came here last week for my grandma’s birthday and the food was amazing I had the fettuccine al pesto it was very good even just dreamed about it the other night very very tasty
Mamma Rosa's is hands down the best Italian in Kelowna. They are a super cute and cozy restaurant with very kind staff. I visit at least once a month, and am never disappointed! The portions are large, sauce-heavy, which I personally love, and have that authentic homemade Italian noodle that is hard to find in other restaurants in the area. My personal favourite go-to dish there is the Fettuccini Alfredo. I crave it daily!
